Rules are for the little people
Only if little people get caught😮
It wouldn't be the first law/requirement that didn't actually have any consequence for not following it.
Penalties should be based on the vessel value.
@@TonyRule exactly I never get a fine more than a 1$
@@bradwilliams5242 I think 20% is probably a bit steep though...
My feeling is local governments need to start confiscating yachts that turn off their AIS systems. Insurance companies should refuse to insure them as well. Make it start really hurting and they'll stop breaking the law. Make it cost some hefty fines like say 1/2 the true value of the ship and it will stop immediately.
OK, you have no clue how the world works. Rules are to keep people like you down.
Get a clue
@@ericsanjuan4901 *snort* Oh I know the rich will never face consequences for being scofflaws. But one can always hope. It's all us peons have.
Yeah it's fun and eat the rich until china ceases a Russian or Japanese flagged boat under these pretenses and we are drafted to fight ww3.
MY Why got mooring lines caught in the propeller as they tried to leave from port in Spetses according to locals present, why the yacht ran aground. It was hoisted by up by a floating crane to be relocated to a yard for repairs. Great video as always, thanks for the informative content. Spetses is South-west of Athens in the Argolic gulf, and due south of Port Heli in the Peloponese part of Greece ⛵
Lol.. you just ignore the Lambo boat from the first bit at 0:22
Confirmed in Bocas Del Toro. Both boats left a couple days ago
🙋♂️THANKS ESYSMAN, FOR THE UPDATE 🤗💚💚💚
I can tell what StarLink is for now.
That yacht is lucky it ran aground in Europe and not in Hawaii...
Launchpad and Wingman just turned their AIS back on. They are both just outside of Panama.
eSysman, earlier today Jody Scheckter’s 1979 Ferrari 312 T4 race and championship winning car was sold at RM Sotheby’s auction in Monaco for $7.418 million dollars. This was Enzo Ferrari’s last Formula One Drivers’ World Championship-winning car, this chassis was the winner of all three of Scheckter’s victories in 1979-the Belgian, Monaco, and Italian Grands Prix. It was also the very first Ferrari Grand Prix car that featured full groundeffect and was powered by the legendary 3-liter flat-12 engine.
Amazing! Unfortunately I missed the classic F1
@@eSysmanSuperYachts eSysman, I heard you bid $7.417M USD!!!

Putting the crew in danger?

Good stuff. Enjoyable to see how some live around the waters. Thank you
THANK YOU....🇺🇸
I like the little dig about steel vs plastic boats
He left Bocas Del Toro Panama a couple days ago
Oddly nice to see a yacht actually having trouble, as opposed to some of these that just go full speed forward or aft-ward until they have an allision.
Hear the squeaking as that yacht rubbing against the dock? That's the sound of money.
YES SIR!! And he thought he saved money by the crew he hired!! Mooring line caught in the prop??
Why dont they put fines on these people? I thought it was illegal to shut off these electronics.
I’m not sure, but I think this superyacht was anchored off the shores of Nevis yesterday evening. quite often celebrity super yachts here including Warren Buffett, but my marine traffic app did not show this super yacht. It was his yacht, then it was anchored adjacent to the Four seasons resort on the island of Nevis.
Hey up Mr sysman if my old steel fishing boat with Ais turned on slides up the side ov the Facebook yacht with Ais not on would i be able to claim for patina damages
🤑
😄😂🤣
The irony, the man that leaves no one left alone on the internet and tracking everything you do doesn't wanna be tracked.
Never ceases to amaze me how these megayacht owners think they can hide (for privacy and security obviously) by turning off the AIS. You've got a yacht the size of a skyscraper and everyone has a camera! Not to mention owning companies (in this case) specialising in letting people know where you are and what you're doing. Bizarre!
So he wants to be left alone? It’s nice to be RICH and not abide by international laws.
I'd suggest there are far more less wealthy people who don't comply with laws.
Yes the irony, the man that leaves no one left alone on the internet want's to be left alone.
Turning off the AIS will only make it harder to find the shipwreck.
The boat was here in Bocas Del Toro last week.
Maybe fiberglass hull yachts should have removable, solid thick plastic bumpers on the front and rear of the hull, or all the way around?
I have seen a marina that has built-in foam padding around the docks. It was a pricy place to tie up, though.
It was aluminium.
"Who" hired the captain of the "Why"
I live in Bocas Del Toro, and both of these Yachts are here at the present time. The thoughts are that Zuch is celebrating his birthday with a massive fireworks display in torrential rains.
Panama could use some rain.
Yep! It is in Bocas Del Toro for a few months now :)
AIS is the car equivalent of not using turn signals or honking when locking the door. Illegal, but _never_ enforced.
It’s more like switching off your headlights to hide - dangerous.
Fantastic content! As always. Love this channel!
Why couldn't the yacht that went aground have been Zuck's 2 yachts.
Now that would have been laughable.
My wife saw the support boat in Bocas yesterday morning, May 21st.
I have to keep it civil…….
Can you use free or inexpensive images taken from satellites to locate a Super Yacht the size of Launchpad?
Billionaires don't have to follow the rules.
Yes is here this is Cap Julio here
Is on bocas del toro, panama
The first time there is an accident involving a yacht with AIS turned off, the insurance companies will use that as an excuse not to pay the claim.
Why? AIS is not a navigational aid
@@bocameron4507 Who cares? It's a great idea!
with that much money he can be self insured , loyds ect .
I hope the owner has to pay for all the help they got during those high winds..
keep up the good work. zuck and his ilk need to be tracked everywhere
Try turning your transponder off in your plane and see what happens.
I'm guessing the captain will loose his license for life.
Funny that. Lots of planes have their transponders off these days.
@@bucket0rocks Some areas you can but you better not in the areas you can't. I fly all the time and they know who you are. They know who they are but know body seems to care about safety on the oceans.
His spaceship was picking him up and he did not want anyone to kno where.
What's the carbon footprint of those two vessels? Hmmmm.
Efuckinnormous!
Not better to face high sea than damage the keel😮
Did you see the car the subscriber is driving, who provided the video ?

And I thought Greece was a seafaring nation?
La la is a Vegas Madame
Tks EEEeeee luv the shirtt, not a car shirt butt coool
I don't understand why you would't keep your Sea-Tow subscription up to date - It's really not that expensive. Would've saved this captain a lot of embarrassment.
It's none of your business where he is calling out for help to find it is just ridiculous
You'll promise find Zuckerberg's yacht in Simpson Bay, St. Maarten
Who runs Epstein's island now?
I'm watching this report, and instantly my IQ went to the roof.
Bocas del toro, panama
Zuk is hiding in his lux bunker.. getting ready for apocalypse!
Eventual- turning off the AIS tracker- means one thing eventually. Some vessel will eventually go missing or worse. I cant wait. 🦖☄️
Do you think your jealousy is healthy?
@@NinjaRunningWild🍆💦 hahahaha....Do Shut Up......🐩💨
As of may 15. 2024. Mark Zuckerberg boat fleet are anchor in bocas del toro. I can see them from my sailboat.
Excessive 🤑
Arrest all three. And seize them.
You made the statement that Marine Traffic is not the most accurate tracking software. What is the other one you use?? I'm curious because since their last update Marine Traffic really sucks!
Marine traffic has been bought by Kpler as has Fleetmon, so they are merging. The other is Spire Shipview but they’re very expensive and their interface is not as good as MT, but MT buys their data from a company like Spire.
Destination Haiti. Nice price’s there..❤
For children??
Yeah, nah, rules/laws don't apply to the super rich, just to the small folk.
I thought it was illegal to go dark.😊p
WHERE'S TOPEDO MAN WHEN YOU NEED HIM?
Just goes to show ya if you have more money than most nations you don't have to follow the rules. Here's to the Corporatocity! (should read "corporatoxity")
If the avg American 🇺🇸 had nice boat , the government here would change the laws so they can make all tha money
What rules ?
Not a smart move trying to maneuver in winds like that other than to ruin a beautiful day 😢😢😢
WHY IN THE WORLD buy a super yacht if you want to travel undercover? I will never understand. I appreciate Mr. Z wanting some privacy and maybe some security issues play a role. But PLEASE, there is nothing screaming HERE I AM more than a super yacht! Thx for the update!
He could have also bought a much smaller and diskret Yacht, instead he went for extra large, special
Exactly! That’s like literally advertising-“Hey! Here I am!
Haha, perhaps you can make a different choice once you’ve made your first $billion and are looking for a way to bring hyper-luxury around the world with you.
To be surrounded by lesser people. Gross. Hotels are nice.
The ais system puts off huge amounts of radiation
U know what I like is tha rich people still can’t live life in total peace……….yessssss..!!!!,but there sumbody in there basement in the USA tracking him😂😂😂
He stoled facebook.
You can still track him via secure watch! just saying he's not billionaire smart.
He screwed his first business partner, hell'o ❤
Turning off AIS draws attention to your fancy row boat so in a way defeats the purpose. If you are in a port, your boat is visible anyways, so no point trying to hide. I could understandj if you intend to spend some days in a secluded cove away from civilisation that you might wish to turn off AIS so people won't know where you are and take pictures of you naked on deck or diving into water. But that assumes you are the only one in that cove.
I'm probably in the minority but I don't blame the rich and famous for not wanting their every move tracked by nosy Nancies and terrorists.
Soon, they'll just shut the internet down to maintain their privacy! How will you like THAT?? Will that make you happy?
@@dough9512 🙄
Billionaires get to make all their own rules as nobody holds them to account for their flaunting laws/rules.
If you turn off your AIS you should be fined and band from moving the yacht for 12 months.
Image if airplane pilots would regularily switch off the TCAS system when they fly - with no repercussions!! Oy Vey!!
Because he picked up puff daddy
LMAO .. things we care about.
Another tyrant who only cares about himself
Life styles or the rich and shameless.
Well la-de-da. The lives of billionaires. What good does he do in the world?
He doesnt have to do anything good…
and the Rules Are Ok for Me $$$ , but not for You -$ .
Please can you pronounce Caribbean correctly and not CarAbbean. Whinge over 😋 thanks for launchpad update. Amazingly he likes to track us yet...
Either is correct. My friend who grew up in Barbados says it’s CarAbbean. Most Americans say CaRIBbean.
The decision to turn off AIS is proof that the captain and the owner are intentionally conspiring to kill or injure seamen on other vessels. They should have both civil and criminal liability for any injuries sustained. The arrogance of turning off a life saving device would stop if the owner was risking twenty years in jail.
It's reasonably more defensive than offensive. A security measure for someone with such a high profile.
They all do it…you need to calm down. It’s protective measure…
If this was a permitted security measure to shut off AIS then the IMO would not require AIS. It is an anti-collision measure and is required. Anyone can claim fear of piracy making the AIS requirement moot. No one will claim the right to drive at night without lights. I support harsh measures for anyone intentionally ignoring safety requirements and in any lawsuit the owner and captain would suffer severe consequences.
Who cares about their location anyway
Should not be allowed. If this guy's boat were hijacked by pirates he would be on his own. No-one to come to his aid. His coice but what about the safety of others on his ship. Self centered, but that usually goes along with the super rich.
This channel confuses me, why are you exposing/tracing the locations of boat owners?
I find it somewhat ironic that you, Yachtarazzi , complain about captains with ultra high net worth guests onboard...are turning off their AIS.
Take a course in VIP security and you will understand why.
Consider how you would feel if your own privacy was taken away?
The government knows where YOU are every second of the day! I think it only appropriate that WE know at least where some on them are! And don't say they AREN'T the government. The wealthy call ALL the shots!! One way or another.
Why do you need to know where his yacht is?
Because he's an asshole who tracks all Americans and half of the rest of the world 24/7, and then sells that info to anyone evil enough to want it! He doesn't deserve to have another minute of privacy in his whole life.
Why are people trying to track Zuck? Do they to have a life themselves? People need to keep track of their marriages, jobs, personal life instead of someone who doesn't give two shits about them, lol
The fact of the matter is when they switch off AIS they are most likely breaking the law.
Spiols of war, by USA billionaires 😂😂😂 I bet he's worried about a hypersonic Russian missile hitting it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 his money won't save him then 🍺🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Always nice to see rich liberals minimizing their carbon footprint.
Why don't you just leave them alone?
So what ....... Who cares why are wondering where this mans yacht is? Omg did your honda accord go dark on the way to the gas station or or on the way to pick up your kids? Who cares ...... This is stupid
AIS is not an anti collision system
It was developed for that very purpose.
