- Learn how to store your buttercream frosting! This video is about how to store the buttercream and reuse them.
I prefer to use fresh cream, and I did for my clients. But sometimes I have leftovers after decorating and also if you are a home baker and dealing with your daily routine, it's hard to do everything on the same day.
So plan, prepare your buttercream in advance for your cake!
Also, it's suitable for leftover buttercream.
I've been whisking my buttercream when it was hard, It eventually turns soft again, but it takes so much time and makes a huge mess.
Try this way to keep your buttercream and turn it fluffy again.

This is a nice video my question is can I store a swiss meringue frosting in a container overnight in room temperature? Will it the frosting be hard?
If you keep them in the room temperature, it won't turn hard x But you should keep them in the fridge tho x
@@BKFloralDelight thank you for your reply. How many days or hour does swiss meringue buttercream will last. And can I do the same step like you did in the vid? Ty.
Does this method work for cream cheese frosting as well?
I haven’t tried yet but i think it should work!
Are these tips also aplicable for swiss meringue buttercream?
Yes, they will work :)
If we want it for tomorrow and prepare it on the previous day is it necessary to store it in freezer?
Hi Meghna, buttercream taste good in the fridge up to three days, (or even five days but I recommend three days) 🌱 For the next day use, store it in the fridge, and when you have to use them let it sit in the room temperature for hours (this takes three to four hours) or use the same microwave method. 🌱 if you are planing to use them in two days or three days I recommand you to freeze it for the fresh taste. Thank you! HAPPY HOLIDAYS :D
What’s your microwave method?
Can i do this on my leftover cream cheese frosting??🙏🏻🥺
Do u put it in the fridge or freezer??
you can either keep it in the fridge to use it in few days or in the freezer for longer time to store, and use the same method to defrost.
Can I use air tight plastic container instead of glasswares? Please reply.
I use plastic containers and they're fine.
How long it can be in the freezer?
You can keep it longer but I'll say use it with in one month :)
