This was dope! Typical papadakis breaking down light intervals for the fastest drag time LOL. Would have loved to see Chelsea and vaughn out there. Nonetheless do more of these!!! Maybe a drift parking challenge next time?
I totally forget that ryan tuerck is with s.papadakis this year. That was a huge advantage in the drag strip...

Memo to file: Where drag racing is concerned do whatever Steph Papadakis tells you to do.
I like the format of this a lot, kinda hope to see it in future FD events. It would be nice to see other skill sets as well. Maybe pair up 2 drivers and see what pair can hold the tightest tandem through the inside bank. The entry one was good but allowed for too many different lines and it was more transitioning than an entry since most drifted the bank coming into it. Overall though, fantastic concept I hope to see more of.

Def need more consistent judging and a higher angle camera so we can see the entire run and angles on cars would be amazing.
We need a 4 car team tandem comp.
Tuerck has an ace in the pocket with Papadakis as a coach.... one of the best import drag racers in history.

You should do this Skill Battle Anually(before or after) , and add more Challenges. I would love to see this next year again. This put a smile on my face watching it.

I saw it before the start of the season, and I see it again several times.
It is incredible how each car also puts its tuning in these challenges.
What surprises me most without a doubt is that drift cars do drag races! It's insane!
I hope they do more events like this, I loved it!!!
And that Laurette continues to host this type of events, she makes it spectacular!!! Besides being a special member in FD! ❤️❤️

James and Piotr are both competing in Drift Masters while this was recorded. So yeah, they're pretty damn busy

The score amount should 1-20 not 1-100 the scores are all over the place

gymnastic judging might have worked better...eliminate the highest and lowest scores...avg the rest

these drag times are so even...its crazy
Cars basically weigh the same and have similar hp so it's to be expected
Its hilarious watching these cars get such slow times for how much power they have since they keep on spinning lol.
Great format now do it with mid line drivers or new comers like those foreign drivers, but now like Best Motoring, the last race is time attack..

Hhahaha bruh Odi's scoring was brutal!!! Maybe get judges that aren't part of the competition for next time? I know Irwindale is the Hoonigans home track, maybe some Hoonigan judges or other grassroots drift guys as judges? I know it's just a fun competition but better judging would make it more entertaining, basically just here to watch the driving since the judging is almost meaningless. None the less awesome video!!! I also want to see these guys run the FD cars down a quarter mile prepped drag strip.

Next competition they should all drive a stock Miata or something similar and drift it. Evens out the playing field and really shows who's the best driver. There was a similar episode years back with USAs top FD drivers vs Japan, driving a stock Miata. Japan came out ontop for the better driver

I remember watching nascar and just wanting to one day to be behind the wheel one day. Still had that hope in the back of my mind. Overall cars aren't considered my best subject lol. But if you invited me to see something like this or even Eve of Destruction, I would accept the invite 😊
