2:13 i actually find it more efficient to use my ring finger looking back, because then you only have to place one new finger on the fretboard moving to the next chords rather than two.
3:36 he plucks it 4 times, not 3. i played it correctly at 4:22 if you want an example.
5:27 this is actually supposed to be the G#m that i talk about later in the song (both fingers on the 4th fret). other times that you should play a G#m and not an Asus2 are at the following time stamps: 6:11 6:22 6:31 9:42

Hi, I’d like to first thank you for sharing this tutorial. It has been helpful for me. I just have some suggestions. I think you left out what to do for “walk the line” and “no fear no fall” parts. It would also have been amazing if you had like a cover-esque at the beginning or the end so people can see how you transition from verses to chorus and such. Again, thanks for the video!

Hey Makku, on average how long do you practice for and how long does it take for you to learn a new song? btw, great tutorials
it varies day to day of course, but i practice every day or two usually, and generally for about an hour. but sometimes i just pick up my guitar and play it for five minutes. and the songs take about one to two hours to learn and take notes on. editing the videos can take like 3-5 hours though!

That’s fantastic! And no, I don’t think that this is difficult music to start with. It’s actually very beginner friendly, and how I learned to play. But I recommend learning to play whatever inspires you the most, that’s how you’ll really improve. Good luck!

at 6:00 I’m pretty sure the “A suspended” is actually supposed to be E and G both on the 4th fret, that’s how he plays it in the acoustic version!

Makku no problem! the only time he plays “A suspended” is for the intro to do the cool little hammer on parts, but for the rest of the song it’s E and G both on the 4th fret!

jason latina, i took french for two years in high school, so i was able to pick it up pretty quickly (though i still managed to pronounce one of the words incorrectly). but the lyrics are online, so thats how basically haha
