    The 60 and 61 models had the long ovals on the front of the hoods. I would give anything to drive one of those old Chevrolets again with the 3 on the tree transmission. My first truck was a 66 short bed step side pretty much like this on, just newer. I've always had a love affair with those old step sides!

    It's a Apache-10 not C-10. It wasn't until 1962 when the C-10 name started.

      I have one too . I always wondered why everyone would tell me Have a C10 . Nowhere on the pink slip or on the truck does it mention C10. I started saying C10 . But was never sold on it . I thought it was just me

    What one has just Apache 10 on the side I believe it doesn’t say Chevrolet, I will need to go look 👀 to make sure , I have my truck and a separate cab for some one to put together a second truck , for 7.000 , lol nice thanks BigAl

      The original carburetor had a manual throttle for cold start ups that would automatically set the choke and pre-set the accelerator.

    I have one of theses too , and I’m looking to trade it off , I’m looking for a rat Roddy 55 Chevy 2or4 door roller no rust , car , nice useable project car , I have a yard full of ol things in California desert 🏜,nice thanks BigAl California, praise Jesus grace Christ amen.

      @@adriantomlin2902 painting vehicles doesn’t mean it’s newer, the metal is still old and will last the same amount of time as if it were taken care of. Also, paint removes the history of a vehicle, gets rid of the sweet patina look
