Someone who would have Married someone else if Clara wasn't there. Then the Kids who would have been born from the original Marriage won't be born, so the Spouses that they would have Married end up Marrying someone else, and there's a bunch of kids who never get born and a bunch of kids who are born who shouldn't have been. We need to go throw Clara into the Ravine, or at least take her back to 1985 so that she doesn't mess anything up."
My all time favorite film series. I've seen all the 3 parts as many times I can. Best of all in this series is theme n story, which is described very well in all manners. But the question is . . y you explained this movie after 35 years of its first premiered.

The whole reason Marty was at Docs was he was told to steal some Interocitor tubes (supposedly these look like vacuum tubes) by Needles for a guitar amp. (also this tube was Martys to start with which Needles broke.) Doc had bought all the remaining supply of said tubes for the boxes they came in becaue he was going to use it for an invention he was working on. (all of this according to the Back to the Future wikia. )

Doc let it slip to Marty that he was gonna be involved in an accident at some point in the future & Jennifer told him she heard him getting fired. All Marty really knew about his future was that his son's a wimp & he lived in Hilldale. Nothing else. Jennifer probably told him other things she remembered after the end of 3, but those are the only things he's shown finding out directly in the movies.

He stand true to himself which is after learning the truth from Seamus in 1885 he even reasons with him not to get goaded into fights even though it was difficult but Marty did the right thing by stopping Buford Tannen for the police in 1955 he helped his father to stand up for himself to stop the bullying by Biff and his guys while in 1985 at Hilldale with Jennifer he prevented the incident from happening so the white silver cloud will be safe leading to Needles challenging him to a wreck less driving race which he declined of the right decision just as the fax note from Cussco eraced which is from 2015 just as Griff was arrested so Marty Jr and the substation is safe Marty was determined not to let tragedies befall his people again not to make the same mistake Seamus's brother did
Fairly positive movies, or have the "happy ending" thing going on. The Biff behavior exhibited in the movies could be seen as somewhat depressing however.
But in order for that to be the case if Clara's name is on the tombstone then that means doc had already rescued her he must have happened to have already been out there riding on his horse even before Marty came along because if she just went over the cliff then she would never have met doc or be listed on his tombstone
Not necessarily. In the original timeline Doc was supposed to pick up the new schoolteacher at the station when she arrived, and they would have met then. Buford would then have killed Doc a few days later, after Clara had fallen in love with him enough to dedicate the tombstone.

It's kinda like a time paradox easter egg in the movie and it's been debunked online of how they would have met without Marty's involvement that would still lead up to Doc's death on the correct date and why Clara was on his tombstone.
One thing I've come to wonder - is Marty a timeline refugee? I realize this could apply to him, Doc, Jennifer and even Einstein, but I focus on Marty. He changed his family's future for the dramatically better, but he is still the guy raised in the original, bleaker timeline. To me, that means he still carries the baggage of that old life, while his family now never did, and that could be a problem through his life. That depressing sojourn to a badly-kept picnic grounds when he was eight has now become a two-week Disney vacation with all the trimmings - but he never saw it. One could argue the incident with the accident that could have ruined him was caused by his still being the kid who needed to have an attitude in the old timeline, but who now should have been a more confident one.

It just dawned on me while watching this, wouldn't there be two time machines in 1885 once Marty goes back with the one Doc Brown hide in a cave in 1885? The one in the cave should still be there in Doc's time...I SEE A WINDOW FOR A SEQUEL!!!

They could have just drained the gas out of Docs and put it in Marty's after fixing the fuel line, which they could have also taken off of Docs.... The time machine biff takes back from 2015 to give young biff the almanac Basically when Marty and doc go back to 1955 half way through BTTF 2 and Marty is in the back of biffs car to when young biff ends the conversation with old biff
I think that they couldn’t mess with the time machine doc put away in 1885 because then Marty would have no way of receiving the time machine in 1955 in the first place in order to go to 1885. If they had dug it up it would’ve messed up the time line and made everything they did after that obsolete
They all scoffed at Doc being killed over 80 dollars but it is equivalent to almost 900 bucks in 1985 and over 2,000 dollars in 2020. Mad Dog has a reason to be a bit pissed.
The thing is mad dog didn’t even pay for the horse shoe repair in the first place, and on top of that he was asking for $20 whiskey just because he felt entitled to it since his horse shoe was faulty. Plus doc offered to repair the horse shoe free of charge even though mad dog hadn’t paid him in the first place. So truthfully he was pulling the idea that doc owed him money out of his butt. When it was his fault for killing a horse just ‘cause he kicked the shoe.

You know what kills me? There is no reason the DeLorean has to go to 88 miles an hour to activate the time circuits for time travel. Part 2 shows Doc getting hit by lightning and going to the wild west while hovering. This ruins movie 1's ending with the whole clock tower scene and part 3's whole train segment as Marty could have just (in 1955) looked up the weather in 1885 and found a few times lightning struck back then to tell the Doc about when meeting up with him at his rescue. Then Doc could have just rigged up a lightning rod at point of impact from Marty's research. No train needed. How much does that suck?!!!
