you better read about the difference between retrospective cohort and case control studies... in retrospective cohort the outcome of interest is yet not happen...
Dear Berhanu thank you very much for your input, but if you saw the diagram i used, the distinction between the two cohort study is the way how we study exposure. in retrospective, both exposure and outcome already happened or at least for exposure but for the case of prospective, we follow through the participant with certain exposure to determine the outcome. in first case, since we cant establish temporal relationship, its call the weakest of cohort study.
