      Hi. They can stay for up to 24 hours at room temperature after baking, in the fridge for 5 days and freezer for up to 6 months. Just put them back in the oven after freezing them and they will be like they were made newly.

      Yes, the butter shouldn't be melted. It should be cold.

      Yes, you can use the pot and gas method. Yes, you can make up to 20 pies, it just depends on the size of pot you will use.

      Eggs and sugar ( not much sugar) just make the meat pie pastry very rich, crispier, and semi-sweet. The sweetness of the sugar shouldn't be too obvious.

      When you measure out the ingredients correctly, most especially fluid. You can also just sprinkle some flour on the work surface to prevent the dough from sticking.

    Pls how long did it take you to make all the pies? Can I make the dough a day before if I will be using it very early the next day?

      It took me about 2 hours to roll out the dough and fold the pies. I would suggest you make the fillings a night before so it can cool down completely, then make the dough the day you want to use it.

      @merciespice4090 Butter makes it crumbly. Combination of Butter and Magarine balances it out. Using Margarine alone will still be okay, but not crumbly. Using Butter alone will be okay too, but may be too crumbly.

      @@vernonmonyepartivp9055 I was baking and folding at the same time. By the time the ones in the oven were being baked, I was folding the next batch. You can just fold and leave them in the tray, when the ones in the oven are done, you just apply egg wash and transfer the unbaked ones to the oven.

      1kg of flour makes between 20-25 pies. You will need 6kg of flour to make 150 pies. Each 1kg of flour requires 1 packet of butter or margarine(450-500grams).

      1.5kg of all purpose flour
      700g of butter or margarine
      Half tablespoon of salt
      Half Tablespoon of nutmeg
      1 teaspoon of baking powder
      Quarter cup of sugar
      2 eggs
      1 cup of water or liquid milk

Then you saw my video, clicked and watched, instead of you to learn 1 or 2 things to add to what you think you already know, you decided to drop this comment that just showed how shallow-minded you are.
      For your information madam, no recipe is wrong. That you haven't come across it in your 10 years of baking meatpie does not mean it's not better than what you claim you know.
