As a middle school trombonist who’s 1st chair. I can confirm that 1st trombone and 1st chairs are actually good. And they are really good. I’m getting inspo here 😊

Huh? French horn has an intentionally stuffy tone. Trombone has by far the cleanest tone of all brass instruments, and it's entire design. Trombone was designed with no unnecessary loops to 'close' the sound off or limit vibrations, hence the long slide instead of valves. Even adding the F attachment at the top makes the tone a little stuffy and a lot of trombonists won't use it for that reason. That said, her tone was excellent!
I play trombone at my school and I’ve been begging my band teacher to let us play sleigh ride next year. I love watching this piece from all the trombone perspectives on RUclips. I love how the trombone part sounds. Good job 👏

I’m so jealous of all of these bands on yt, my school is not that rich so we play our concerts in the gym and my band director would murder me if I had my phone at a concert
@@aditikamath3120 Keep practicing. I play trombone in a community band and played trombone and baritone horn as an undergrad. If at all possible keep play as long as you can!!! Good luck!!!

I'm surprised by how interesting the part actually is. Usually trombones get very boring parts most of the time. 🌷
