Chad Lamont Butler, better known by his stage name Pimp C, was born on December 29, 1973, in Crowley, Louisiana. Pimp C rose to prominence as one half of the legendary duo UGK (Underground Kingz), alongside his partner Bun B. Together, they pioneered the Southern rap movement, delivering gritty tales of life in the streets with tracks like "Pocket Full of Stones" and "Front, Back & Side to Side." UGK's breakthrough album, "Ridin' Dirty," solidified their status as hip-hop icons, earning them widespread acclaim and a devoted fanbase. Following UGK's success, Pimp C embarked on solo ventures, collaborating with industry heavyweights like Jay-Z, OutKast, and Three 6 Mafia. His solo debut album, "The Sweet James Jones Stories," showcased his lyrical prowess and cemented his reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the rap game. However, Pimp C's journey was not without its challenges. During the height of his career, Pimp C was sentenced to eight years in prison, after being found guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Despite these setbacks, Pimp C remained resilient, channeling his experiences into his music with honesty and authenticity. Tragically, on December 4, 2007, Pimp C was found dead in a hotel room in Los Angeles. The official cause of death was attributed to an accidental overdose, yet speculation and rumors surrounding his demise persist to this day. The mystery shrouding Pimp C's death has only added to the mystique of his legacy, leaving fans and fellow artists grappling with unanswered questions. After more than 15 years, the question still remains the same - What Truly Happened to Pimp C on that fateful December day?

He was trying to unionize all the southern rappers and go around Sony, Arista, etc. He was starting in Houston and dropped Knocking Doorz Down. By then he already had worked with the boys in Memphis, New Orleans, and Atlanta. If he was able to pull it off, the powers that be would lose billions. Follow the money, always.

Pimp died on a certain A-list artist's birthday, he had previously worked with this artist on one of the artists biggest tracks to his day.
someone else also pointed out that pimp had also smashed the artist's girl before they even met, they are both A-list artists to this day. im not saying this A-lister was anywhere near the actual incident, but that his death saved a lot of artists careers, since pimp was almost exposing and taunting them on a constant basis.

Sleep apnea is a very dangerous condition and should not be down played by people who are doing irresponsible things while having the condition. There are 2 different types of sleep apnea. The first is obstructive. This mean that the airway is narrowed by something. Obesity, large tonsils are regular causes with obstructive sleep apnea. The second one is even more deadly than the first. It's central sleep apnea. Central sleep apnea is when you brain is not receiving the signals to continue breathing. Add codeine to sleep apnea and that's a deadly combination. Codeine can cause slow, irregular and shallow breathing along with a slow and irregular heartbeat.
On top of mixing that shit with Lean which is known to slow down breathing definitely a bad combination but who knows man this a fucked up world we live in smh
