- This is vid about how you can test your gas valve from Ariston and Baxi gas boilers and how it looks inside the valve.
you need 12V DC power supply, some wiring to connect to valve pins,
this gas valve has two selenoids, one controls the main gas inlet, the second modulates the outlet pressure - thats what you can see on video,
this is electromechanical test only
Hello Michal,
I have the same problem with my Ariston boiler genus one and I like to ask you how your boiler works after this modification.
Thank you,
Nick
Hello! Regarding this valve: after the investigation, your conclusion was that has a defect? The movement of "pwm valve" was free? I don't understand what can be damage in this assy. Innreal live i see the response of valve is not fast enough in order to keep up the flame. Thank you
Absolutely no defect, both valves worked perfectly, I suspected valve from flame lifts, but there is nothing wrong
Do you know which one modulates the outlet pressure? Is it the motor collected across 1 and 3, or 2 and 4 ?
pin 2 and 4
@@michalaron4784 Thank you!
Really interesting, and just the information I had been looking for - except so abstract that I can't figure out what's happening. Desperately needs a (verbal or written) commentary
what information you looking for?
I added subtitles
Hello!
I have conduction between 1 and 3 pin.
Is my Valve trash?
no, there is selenoid = wire with resistance cca 20 ohm /60ohm
I'm confused. You say you need a 12V PSU... but the sticker on the side of the SGV100 says 24 VDC
i think 24 VDC is max operating voltage, valve begin to open with 6-7volts, so 12V DC power supply is good
enough for test purpose, remember the current limit not to exceed 250mA
@@michalaron4784 Ahh, ok, thank you!
благодарю, друг

My Fuc.ing Ariston is not working too ... They sending to me engineer without brain ... Keep asking them for replacement valve still nothing happen worse service ever ... How I can fully open this valve ?
They love to replacing parts, not repaire parts!
