Recently, my Ariston Genus One gas boiler started showing the 5p3 error code -flame cuts. I have an almost new PCB main board, so I was sure there was no problem. The suspect was the gas valve. The deformed membrane caused the flame cuts. Piston was no perfectly coaxial to selenoid coile. I have no idea what cause twisting membrane. Fix was simple, carefully get membrane to normal position. Cap is soldered to pin 1 and 3, 1 and 2 is not shorted- it looks so, but is not!!! Use capacitor 1nF !!! not 22nF , is much stable and no more error codes. It will work also with 22nF capacitor, but sometimes will appear 5P3 error code. 309 error code mean "Gas relays check failed", I found that the cause of this error is a bad smd capacitor on pcb connected in parallel with gas valve selenoid....

EH0 code on Electrolux dryer means power supply problem, in my case fix was really easy as you can see, this was the first problem with this dryer after 5 years. Take out PCB, clean it and search for a cold joints....resolder, get PCB back in place, done.

This is vid about how you can test your gas valve from Ariston and Baxi gas boilers and how it looks inside the valve. you need 12V DC power supply, some wiring to connect to valve pins, this gas valve has two selenoids, one controls the main gas inlet, the second modulates the outlet pressure - thats what you can see on video, this is electromechanical test only

Some tips to fix this errors collected from my and other users experience : - clean ionizating electrode (more often when boiler is in laundry room) - clean condensate drain - check grounding and power supply (grounding resistance up to 13ohm is ok) - check gas valve selenoid resistance - ( Type SGV100: pin 1-3 : 25ohm, pin 2-4: 67ohm) !!!! Hi can anyone what is the voltage ouput on 24V pin (pin 1) I measure 36 V there so not sure if my unit is faulty or not. Manual says 24 V (+50%, - 30%) which seems like in spec, but it burned a TX photocell - power BJT and 35 V cap. I am afraid that if I replace only the photocells it will happen again. Thanks.

Hello. My Electrolux dryer heats but does not cool. The problem is that the laundry is hot and the water tank is empty. The compressor gets very hot. I would be grateful for any advice

@@michalaron4784 I disassembled the entire dryer and cleaned it. Unfortunately, I suspect the lack of R134a refrigerant. What is disturbing is that there was some dried oil under the compressor.
Fisrt defaut for me with this pcb : the regulator 5V TA78L005AL replace by 7805 in TO220 case most perform in hot temp. But today one new problem, i have replace 3 capicitors around the regulator but don't work correctly again. Have you the value of this burn resistor? Maybe it's down for me?

This is total nonsense. Replacing the capacitor does not solve any problem, something else causes the error. These are manufacturing defective panels regardless of whether the PCB is 1 or 3 years old.

I am currently struggling with an Ariston Genus One 5P3 error. I replaced the gas valve, which was clearly full of dirt and the filter was torn. But the 5P3 error is still present with the new gas valve.

What do you call a bumper? That little black plastic piece in the piston head? It's like you chose not to wear it!!!! Or did I not understand correctly? I saw that the piston that regulates the pressure had a small plastic piece. In the end I understood that you didn't put it on the assembly anymore.
Bumper=little black piece, it is kind of rubber material, it's supposed to avoid clicking noise when valve opening, therefore "bumper", I think due aging rubber get shrinking and do not hold in place-in piston.
Hello! If you didn't put that small black plastic protection, didn't it give error 5P3? Was that little piece blocking the piston? Or don't let the piston open all the way?
Because of loose little bumper, piston can't fully open gas valve, too much air, lack of gas in combustion chamber cause flame cuts

Had the same problem. Zero support from Ariston. What I did and my advice to You is - consider buying something different than Ariston....

Thanks Snr. Aron. I had the same problem. No flame and flame interrupt. By your guidance i have solved the problem. Replaced the cap with 1nf 300v plastic package from backside of the selenoid connector. Pin 1 and 3. All seems good. Also renewed some darkened solders because of heat. Hi, I'm speaking from Argentina, I have the same problem. I already tried and verified everything, gas pressures, clean the entire gas system, check grounding, measured voltages, everything is ok. I changed the capacitor for one of 1nf as indicated in the video and I still have the same problem. The boiler turns on and after a while it throws error 501, reset, turns on again and after a while error 501, recipes again and does not turn on, up to 6 recipes, turns on again. throws relay error also sometimes. what else could i try?

Google says: E52 indicates either a bad motor or motor controller. several articles say to access the motor and remove the power plug, and the ohms across pins 1 and 2, 1 and 3, 2 and 3 should be 4 to 6 ohms, and pins 4 and 5 should be between 105 and 130.
