    I was for the first time in NO in 1953 and there was hardly any Jazz at all being played.Much Bop etc but virtually no trace of this music.How times have changed-thank goodness.

    never been in U.s., but N. O. it's the first city i would visit. I love this...i think it's the real spirit of U.S.A.

    That lady dancing is the precious little Giselle Anguizola. I could watch her dance all day. You can see her tap dancing to Mahogany Stomp on another vid.

    Time for a short road trip..makes me hopeful for humankind..that Nawlins' can still sing & dance after the hurricane..Music is therapy.

    Wow, interesting movement by the music makers as well as the dancers. I like the surprises in tempo. Makes me smile. I dig it. Will have to check out the Spotted Cat. Thanks, xxmusicormisery.

    If you go to New Orleans don't miss them. They play a lot on Royal Street in front of the Court House or in the Spotted Cat. THE BEST

    The streets are shut off! I guarentee you, apart from a drug problem at night, it is a MUST DO trip :)

    Some streets of the French quarter are often closed during events & on weekends for foot traffic. When this happens the street performers show up en masse

    This music is one of the reasons I want to go to New Orleans before I die.
    One question though, how many musicians are killed in the street by passing cars there . :)
