I would lay in bed at night in 1976 and listen to this album. I memorized every hiss, every pop every skip and when I listen to it today I have to hold back a lot of emotion. It takes me back to the 14 year old version of me mesmerized with the sound and emotion that rock and roll could bring. Thank you Peter Frampton for the gift you've given us all. I wonder if he will ever realize what he and this album meant to so many millions of us. Thank you for transporting me back 45 years and just for a few seconds letting me remember what it was like to be 14 again.

The FM station would be playing this song. It was a very good life. I finally got to see Peter in 2006 ,30 years later when he played this song I lost it, my wife knew I was a big fan, she asked me if I was alright & I said yes I am,& I hugged her close& cried.
Great year for me as well but 74 was good too. Bowie diamond dogs tour was that year. Also I think the version here was not 76 sounds a year or so earlier what with the harmonies on the chorus. Sounds closer to the studio version than the Frampton Comes Alive version

Listen to it on the Comes Alive album loud, or with headphones and get lost in the purity, transcendence and emotion of the sound...Words simply cannot express the power of this man's artistry and mastery of the guitar... He'll always be my favorite...God Bless you Peter... Thank you!!

Great song, still one of my most listened-to-songs of Peter Frampton of Frampton comes Alive. A real gem! Wonderful video footage also, considering it's now 40 years old.

Um dos homens mais bonitos do Rock e talvez por isso, alguns não reconheçam o grande talento de Peter Frampton na guitarra...ele criou vários solos interessantes que ficaram marcados até hoje. E também um bom compositor e cantor. Prova são seus vários clássicos tais como Show me the way, Breaking on the rules, I cant standing no more...enfim, suas musicas fazem parte da história da musica. Verdadeiro Clássico digno de tocar no Rock in Rio...se bem que o Rock in Rio vem deixando de ser festival de rock há tempos.
He and his beloved reunited 3 pick up Les Paul still got it 40+ years later. Memories of him in concert in Freedom Hall Louisville, KY in '76 👍 Beautiful sound through that old school Leslie Cab

Love all his songs
I love your passion fir playing lovely music. I have been a fan since 1977. You are absolutely talented and full of joy and passion. ❤ 💙
