This channel was where I found some of my very first pour over instructional videos, years and years ago. I got to go to Kyoto for a few days back in September and visiting your shop was genuinely the thing I was most excited about. Loved getting to visit the city, and especially loved getting to visit one of the shops, responsible for my very earliest coffee knowledge.
I live in Kyoto and I've been to so many coffee shops in Kyoto and Kurasu is absolutely my favourite! I'm not a coffee drinker so I always look for matcha at coffee shops and I appreciate that it is given the same attention to quality as the coffee. When my friends visit Japan, Kurasu is the first café I recommend and they're never disappointed.

@KurasuKyoto I have 5 nights in Kyoto and my plan is for one of the days to be a chilled one, not worrying about hitting the tourists sights. Your "Home Brewers" store is such a great idea, I'll certainly be checking that out (and worrying about how to fit items into my luggage!) 😃

Hajime-san of Good Coffee Farms in Tokyo recommended me your coffee store, and so I was able to visit Kurasu Stand and 2050 Coffee when I was in Kyoto last December. I wasn't able to get his name, but the staff at 2050 Coffee who was originally from Ukraine and spoke perfect japanese, was incredibly helpful. Also loved the coffee ☺️

I tried to do this during my visit to Kyoto in 2023! I was armed with my list of shops from the cycling map 😅 Kurasu Kyoto Stand was also my first stop upon getting off the shinkansen, and I made visits to the Ebisugawa location, Inoda Coffee and Weekenders the next day. Can’t wait to go back and try all the other cafes!
Nxt trip to kyoto, these coffee shop going to be in my bucket list. I really curious about the flavour of v60 in these shops. Look simple but as u said, the quality is guaranteed.
