Is there one DMC champion this year? Why are there so many sub categories? Portable turntables, one turntable. Does anyone spin on two technics anymore? Full complete sets?
The world championship is in November. As far as the sub categories I'm not sure why either. As far as using technics goes to me that's not an issue. The issue is the lack of creativity. Sometumes I wonder if they actually listen to the beats they scratch over. They just do combinations for the sake of it. No real feeling as it's just mundane beats or loops they scratch over. Nothing musical plus they just keep scratching when it's the space between the scratches that's just as interesting IMHO.
Hi we have categories for all types of battle DJS.
Portablist for Scratch DJs on Portable Turntables - there are a lot of them! Beat Juggling and Scratching simply for Djs who excel in those techniques. All Vinyl competition might be something you like. And of course we have our big battles with 2 tables and a mixer - DMC World Finals and DMC World Supremacy. These will take place on Nov. 3rd in San Francisco at the Midway SF.

These foreigners really know how to isolate themselves in a room and go for it i see LMAO ... only the heads will understand that one....
