I went in November, 2022 and my first glimpse of the stones was through the window of our bus. I was looking across the fields and suddenly off in the distance were the stones. Wow! Getting close to them made me feel like a kid with excitement. That they were brought there and constructed by humans three thousand years ago made me feel awed by human endeavor. It was certainly one of those experiences that will stay with me forever.
@@TobyNomad No. I first went to England, London 3 times. I made side trips to Brighton, Greenwich, Bath, Windsor Castle and Stonehenge. What would you recommend? By the way, thanks for this video.
Very well done! Informative narration and beautiful photography. When I was there we also did a tour of the Cotswolds on that trip. Beautiful part of England.
Wow. That really is off the beaten path! So beautiful up there. I wonder if those stones have any connection to Stonehenge?? I guess you will reveal all in a future video!!!
So, from my understanding there is a different age if we are talking about the mounds versus the actual stones. And, of course, which pyramid. What do you think?

I felt the same way!!!! Thanks for going on the adventure with me :). I’m currently planning a trip to Skara Brae for next month! Have you been there?

Thank you! Cotswolds also sound lovely! I’m currently up in Orkney doing season two of this European History adventure :)

Hey Was, so glad you liked this one too! I am excited to do more, currently working on editing what I have from latest trip :)))
I'm pretty sure it's years older than the pyramids

@@TobyNomad I'm not totally sure when the pyramid were built but I do feel like it was bronze age or later
