Do they prefer to lay eggs on vertical surfaces? I noticed that you have substrate in the tank and I'm surprised that they didn't lay on the substrate. I may have made a mistake. I put calcium reactor media as rubble on the bottom of my burghia tank and dumped in a bunch of aiptasia and burghia. The nudibranchs are growing, but I fear that I will never see the eggs. The burghia hide between the calcium reactor media for much of the day. They are growing big.

Why did you harvest the eggs as opposed to just letting them hatch?

Andreas Horvath that's really cool do you need to keep a tank of aptasia then to keep the colony going? do you sell them? I have a few aptasia I've been trying to get with aptasia x and keep coming back.

Tyler Schafer Hi Tyler! In order to breed the nudibranchs you need to maintain a constant source of aiptasia. I breed and sell aeolidella stephanieae. I even sell a a device to breed your own: www.fishgimmicks.com/de/zubehoer-fuer-zuechter/43-snail-farm-in-a-box.html

Hey I went to your site but had a hard time since it was in german. How much are the nudibranch each and would you ship to usa?

you can swap language to English on the top right: www.fishgimmicks.com/en/accessories-for-breeders/43-snail-farm-in-a-box.html I sell the nudibranch for 15 EUR per piece but shipping overseas is not possible as the delicate animals would not survive. I am certain you will find local sources in the States.
