Some people don't think of general maintenance when they buy cars. I was shopping with a budget of 300k during the 2nd half of 2022. I was even looking at 320i's, A4's, but I just looked at how much their tyres cost and how much a service is then decided to get a brand new Suzuki Baleno GLX instead. Great peace of mind, great tech for a car under 300k and my services are covered for 4 years with an additional year of warranty. The general wear and tear is a lot cheaper than what I'd have spent on a German sedan.

@@jordydube5422 I went for an old A4 1.8T. And yep, the maintenance is bad. But the driving is therapy. 😂. I think I'd still pick a second hand Audi than Toyotas and other cheaper to maintain cars. The driving part is great.

My dad owns a 2015 f30 320i. Very very solid car. It has 322000km's, the only issues so far have been the fuel pump at around 240k Kms, the water pump has been replaced twice and the head gasket went at around 280k Kms. Other than that it's has been your regular service. It's an awesome car, so good in fact I'm getting one as soon as I'm done with uni.

If I had money, I’d go for that manual Corolla XR sedan on Muzi’s video with just 12 000km and it’s on dekra platinum. It’s underrated. And since you mentioned Mumbo, how about a collab with him since you’re on a used car market at the moment? Having a fun time with my F30 320i. I’ve done quite a bit of preventative maintenance, but I’ve had trouble free miles for the past 5 years. The car is 10 years old now, but it’s still strong.

Greetings from Canada. I was genuinely curious how people from other countries buy cars. I stumbled upon your channel and thoroughly enjoyed watching you shop for used cars. Man, that warehouse is massive! I subscribed and now you can no longer say, “Please support your local RUclipsr”. Lol
That's WEBUYCARS. It's our lives saver, they buy cars wholesale from everyone like government, corporation and private individuals. Because of them second hand cars have become extremely cheap in South Africa and before them all dealers were taking us for a ride, From 2018 I have been buying from them and most of their cars need some repairs as they don't fix like dealers do but excellent choice for us with mechanic knowledge.
Shout out to Mumbo repairs....what that guy is doing cannot be undone. I hope he keeps up with the good work because most panel beaters' repair prices are astronomical

The AUDI TT is a great deal, if you service that car well you won't have problems with the gear box. Anyway Mumbo will fix it 😅at a great deal. But! The AUDI stands out

Everyday 4.0 fortuner then audi tt, both are reliable for family man/women and that's what you need fortuner during school days, tt during school holidays while going to work,friends funerals & parties, double cab/fortuner for relatives functions depending on how large is your family.
Probably the KIA, just seems like the best all round car and the safest choice amongst the rest...

Bought myself an F30 for R180k in 2017. It had about 64000km. Had to immediately replace the suspension arms, but after that the car has been very solid. I've replaced the battery and tyres, which is standard. I don't get the stereotypes, I would buy another one as soon as I'm keen to get back to dealing with debit orders
Would you recommend it for a first car? been finding good ones under 50k km. But getting mixed reviews
Definitely buy that old E Class Mercedes-Benz and restore it. Show us the process. Maybe do some work on it also. With in your capabilities of course. I think it would be a great watch for me and some other viewers. Seems like you love that car. Can wait to see the results.

Here 320d's are way better alternatives than petrol engines, and this will do with proper regular service, as per manufacturer's specifications.
It's actually the famous vanos system. The system gets clogged up in return it triggers a warning. The replacement part is around 35k at BMW hard to find alternative mobile st mechanics just clean the filter and put everything together. My brother has the 316i and his spend over 50k on the same issue and his selling but can't find a buyer yet

Mr How Much, that old Mercedes-Benz, for the price it can be restored, there's upholsters who can get the same material, or get a perfect alternative, either get a good buff & polish, get it serviced - then one would have a proper Classic car. With your choice, I loved the 180GSX Auto, that Kia Sportage, and will have to choose carefully on those Toyota Fortuners appearing there. ( With these I don't care about mileage, as I owned a late 2007 Toyota Hilux, for 7 years, until I sold it last year, which was a real gem I must say - replaced this with a Toyota Rav 4 - 2.0GX Auto). A very good content I must say

On that 2017 Corolla Auto with a mileage of 35000 after 7 years 😭 I really understand. It might have been a car for a student. I’ve had my car two months and I’ve done just a little over 1000km. By the end of the year, if I don’t drive back home, I’ll probably have about 5000 kms.
Those f30 cars can hit you with maintenance issues... But you will need to learn how to work on those if you want to save a few bucks... Plus you need to have a place where you can get parts.... Goldwagen for instance

We had a 1998 Toyota Corolla in the family, my dad bought it new. All my brothers had about w years with the car till it went back to my dad who kept it for about 3 more years before his passing... Long story short, my younger brother who was the last to have it drove it for 2 years before selling it. He regrets it 1 year later, we haven't forgiven him, car only had 219k kms on the clock and interior was as good as new with the toyota smell to it...
I could go on and on about it, so for that reason, in 3 months I'm getting me a Toyota as my next car in SA... Still waiting on a proper new Toyota review 😂

Most people are leaving F30 petrol engines to diesel engines. Diesel engine is more reliable and lite on fuel
Kia because it will do you well. And it is a nice vehicle for everyday.
Audi is really nice and I am sure fun to drive. BUT that will wear off and the S-tronic will always be on your mind.

AUDI TT it just does it well and its practical not that much because of the 2 seats but for fun, Audi TT is the one and it's a good deal plus it has a 2 litre which fuel consumption it's not of a much burden in my finances so Audi TT for me it wins without a doubt the moment l buy it l would take it for diagnosis so that l don't have issues just je to know want to fix
As for the corrola 180i GSX auto for teachers 😂😂😂😂 , most teachers used to drive those cars 😂 especially driven by lady
