morikawa plays really well when he has an actual deck but when builds his decks well we all know what happens
He actually almost beat Chrono due to G Assist. He was just too blind to use Mecha Trainer to fetch him a Perfect Guard to live another turn.
Fun fact: it took Dragonic Overlord the End's 193 episodes to actually win a game since its first reveal. Its first and only wins thus far occur in Turn 6 of the GIRS Crisis Arc. Hence, the only person this card has ever actually played a part in beating was Shion who was having difficulty in beating anybody at the time.
There was also technically Kai's fight against Henri at the end of GZ where he lost to every version of Overlord x3
This was one of my favorite scenes for Morikawa, but i agree with everyone else that he got seriously screwed by pulling no crits.
Morikawa was at his strongest in that episode. It was awesome while it lasted.
well Morikawa just needs someone to switch his deck before he plays. I was hoping he'd get Reversed, then they could've easily explained him being a serious threat.

UltraCJ12 so true. It would've made a very good oh shit moment to cause god knows the one thing this season lacked was a lot of tension when people where reversed a couple of episodes after... If Morikawa where to walk out looking all reversed, having a bloodlust for victory and the revelation that as a baddy his deck building had improved you'd have had a legitmate sub boss.

UltraCJ12 indeed, He'd also be the perfect person to have played Edict Star-vader, Halcion and swamped his opponents with Reverse grade 3s :D

I think Morikawa is the strongest card fighter alongside Kai if he did have a strong pre-built deck. I remember back in the first season he was on an unbeaten win streak in the casual tournament in the card shop.

The end was one hell of a card, with 6 drives that not even every stride can achieve.
Hey, Morikawa got a draw the first twin drive, and another the end the second twin drive. If he got a crit on the third twin drive then that would be really lucky. I wouldn't call that unlucky, I would just say that Morikawa's luck finally ran out in the drive checks.
Everytime I've actually gotten Dauntless > The End > Persona Blast, I usually win.
Aichi had too much plot armor, out of 6 cards, there was no crit? o.o
I don't blame him though, I don't always get crits~

Darkgodaphex I play Fortuna-Himiko, yet every time I break ride and the opponent can't PG, I never get triggers. In 6 cards.

I played the end plus overlord break ride before I can afford the rebirth and it's pretty good fot it's time

Dauntless drive dragon's break ride skill does not require the attack to hit. It just requires the unit to not have stood before during that turn. At that point, discard 3, stand the vg.
Just imagine the actual players who have a copy of this deck after the episode aired lol
if kai used this combo we all know what happens😂😂😂 All crits in drive
nope coz they made kai a fool in link joker season........but kai became the mc and became so powerful in legion mate but alas legion mate didn't published globally.........legion mate had some most exciting matches in the ending episodes....like kai vs gailard last two match......aichi vs kai where aichi lost even using link joker.....that season had a good story line
Re-Birth: Hello there.
Morikawa didn't get any triggers on that last attack. If he got a stand trigger, Garp would have stood and attacked, forcing Aichi to have Gallatin intercept. A critical trigger would have won Morikawa the game, sans a heal trigger. A draw trigger would have given Morikawa a reason to guard on Aichi's turn, sans a grade 3. He didn't get a heal, since he was still at 5 damage on Aichi's turn. He didn't get another Barri, because he could've guarded Gancelot. At best, he got two more 5000 shields.
If that draw was a crit then it was over.

No Aichi made the right call when he guarded The End's first attack. Morikawa had to discard 3 cards from his hand to use the Break Ride eff...one of which Aichi can conceivably hope another The End. He didn't expect Morikawa to pull another one in his drive check. Besides the,Dauntless/DOtE combo is ass
I agree. and they could have made it a bit more belieavable by having Aichi take the 1st attack instead of using a perfect guard. Then when he got 4 dmg he could null the end's attack (which would be the right move). That way he would depend less on Morikawa not getting a trigger, would also not allow him to use The End's skill. But then again this fight had the purpose of showing off the new combo with dauntless and The End so...
Ik that this a old comment but he could use end skill before the break ride skill if he was succesfull in that attack.so basically he would attack a total of three times no matter what.
@@nsunitha7561 Oh wow that WAS an old comment lol. Not my memory is not as clear but I vaguely remember there being a ruling at the time that you had to use the break ride skill for the 1st time restanding or else you wouldn't be able to use it anymore.
It was the Break Ride skill that Dauntless Drive gave to the End which is discard 3 kagero units and stand this unit.

It wasn`t The End`s break ride, but the Dauntless Dragon he rode on top of. So long as a Kagero unit rides Dauntless while the user has four+ damage, the break ride activates.
give him a proper deck soon and make him decent before vanguard ends.
Doing it with Dauntless is a actually a very good finishing move, as seen here, one crit and Aichi would have lost (as everyone keeps saying)
Me at the first glance of this video: did they play in window XP?
morikawa should've rode Dragonic Overlord, then Dauntless, and if he's still standing, ride the end for a 12000 power bonus, but that's if he was lucky
The break ride version of overlord debut in the fight where Яe-birth debuted so it wouldn't have been a break ride which means that it would've only gained 2000 due to cross ride...it may have been better still but the 3 drive checks is something that can overwhelm most people unless they have 3 sentinels...

I am really upset about this. He basically got 6 trigger checks, and not a single one was a critical or even a heal?! Kai is my favorite character and they keep dicking him over just because Aichi is the main chracter... Lose-umi should have won this.

Aichi should let the 1st attack pass and 2nd attack negate to make the end cant stand again
There's no way that aichi could have known that morikawa would get the end in his second attack and even then there was A CHANCE(it didn't happen but still, it could have especially with that draw Trigger) that in the scenario you mentioned, that he had a copy of the end already in his hand and used ITS skill before using the one from dauntless' break ride.
Unless aichi has full knowledge at all times of what lose-umi has in his hand no move is the correct one UNLESS you have hindsight...

or additional draw triggers to at least guard the next load of gancelot builds.. I mean my god last time I saw luck as great as aichis is a real life 2 out of 3 match where two of them were 2 6th damage heals in one battle phase

Dauntless Drive Dragon Break Ride skill:
LB4: When rode upon, select on of your Vanguards, until the end of turn, it gets 10k Power and “At the end of battle this unit attacked, if it didn’t stand this turn, (COST: Discard 3 cards from your hand), Stand this unit.
LB4 is Limit Break 4, you need 4 cards in your Damage Zone.

This scene is bullshit since, Aichi had no reason to guard the first attack. in his situation he should have let the first vg attack through and guard the second, this preventing the triple restand. I wish they did that because then in the future fight between Kai and Miwa maybr they can show kai taking tbe triple vg attack as a means to show a differen e of opinion from aichi
