Thanks for another cool video. my Bride gave a funny look when you started talking about the big earrings. I busted out laughing when I got a vision of the dumbo ears...
@@glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308 When she was young, all the girls wore those hug e hoop earrings but she felt that heavy earrings made your ear lobes grow and stopped. I'd love to make her a set like you just did. Those would be cool but I have to make the chucks first.
@@JimmyLee0757 you put it so delicately. I just called them elephant ears. You definitely have to make those chucks now. She'll be waiting for them earrings now.
That was brilliant explaining what the bands do & don’t do. I had also presumed that it was only them holding not only the work but, the chuck as well. After your explanation, all made sense, they are only passive, with the main chuck holding in full contact. Brilliant Glenn. 👏
Hi P, I had so much I was trying to remember to say when making the chucks that I only realised when I watched it back that I hadn’t explained what the bands are for.
Thanks for another video full of tips and ideas! I will, most likely, never turn pendants or earrings, but some of your tips and methods can definitely apply to other projects! Good job guys 🤠🇨🇱
great video avid novice turner hate to be that person but what was the dimensions on the earing part i know the pendent is 55 but i may have missed the earing thanks
Thanks for the update
