Camp Fortune is a rockie gnar paradise for sure. You need to check out SDM north east of Quebec City. Rock slabs galore. Was going to go this fall but fracturing my right clavicle early in the summer, has put me on side lines for a while. Plus being off for 3 months from work has put a hamper on the entertainment budget.
Nicely ridden in the tech …. I don’t ride with gloves either except early morning starts in winter when it’s close to 0 degrees but even then after a lap or 2 they come off. How cold would you use gloves?
I’m considering them on really hot days now just because of sweat. I rode without them right in to November last year. If I were fat biking In January, I suppose I would have no choice!
@@GoodTrails thanks for responding 👍. It gets hot and sweaty in the Aussie summer but I don’t wear gloves in summer. Might be the wrist guards I wear after fracturing my wright wrist a few years back
Aside from an actual quarry, not sure if there is anywhere rockier than trails in QC. That being said, the trails looked like they were alot of (tech) fun!
Awesome vid! Me and my buddy are heading out here next weekend we're both riding the Orbea Occam (140/140 version) how do you think these things will hold up here?
@@maxm2096 Easy to forget sometimes but his riding buddy should have told him as well, dont record the entrance nor the exit. Ideally have the trail be in a compilation or on its own where you cant tell what sector/park its in. Or dont make it public period :P That said its a case by case when it comes down to off the map stuff, Bromont is borderline an open house, MSA (and clearly Fortune) you're better off being lowkey about it.
I was just there. Brutal tech if you're solo. I would have enjoyed being towed through these. Sooo much rock!!!
Yea it is a lot easier if you can follow someone!
You are super underated you should have way more views
fun to watch, good riding, held it together in some sketchy spots... fortune is so rough lol
Wow those last two trails looked nuts!
Super steep, chunky and loose! Camp Fortune is seriously fun!
This is like a dream to me.

Bummer! Welcome to the clavicle club. I have done mine twice. Hope it heals up well!
Very nice! My kind of riding
It’s the best! Love Camp Fortune

I know of some spots in Ontario that are just as rocky but they are flat XC trails. Camp Fortune on the other hand is steep!
@@GoodTrails Yes, for sure, HAFTA comes to mind, but yeah, we don't really have the steepness....unfortunately.
@@d-nicebikes HAFTA is the network I was referring too. Very difficult trails

Maybe! You’ll have to pick your lines wisely
@@GoodTrails haha we'll do our best 🤣
you can ride all of this on a hardtail if you want...might be walking out with broken ankles and frame tho :P
@@bikeninja956 hahaha we survived! Next to zero room for error on the trail bike which kept it spicy 🤙 Had a blast definitely coming back!
what trail was the one over the pipe ? I've been several times to Fortune but never did that trail. It looks gnarly, next time I have to hit it !
That is Jacobs ladder. It’s a secret but not so secret trail.
it has been torn down
@@maxm2096 damn why ?
@@rideordie5377 ncc down syndrome
unfortunately jacobs has been torn down.
The trail?
@@GoodTrails yes. not saying it was your fault but next time don’t record the entrance to it
