that gamer button is a master controller. node allowing the user to create and link callback functions to actions from the Transform tool, capable of generating controls in the Camera view. The callback functions are written in JavaScript using the Toon Boom standard scripting interface. which basically is a bunch of gates of how far the bones and what not can move. so if you want the mouth to do repetitive movements you can set the constraints of what it can be able to do and you use the controller basically do whatever you want without having to redo it over and over. because you made the constraints,(keyframes can be restraints in their own right). you can also make skeletons with these controllers and copy and paste them onto other figures. ((I am sorry if that sounds like gibberish.))
This is amazing!!! Thank you so so much for your tutorials and sharing your knowledge on here Istg harmony is such a hard program to master and your tutorials are so easy to follow 😭 plus zee is adorable I love seeing her!
I Just learned right now the hard way that this wont work well with a Heavy textured image. Tried to use it to animate a character on the motion comic i`m working and all sort of bugs happened. Turned out that when i blurred the image before importing, it worked like a charm. Its a manga with heavy use of halftones in Black and white, so its probably confusing the hell out of the nodes trying to understand were is the alpha. Gonna have to plan ahead when i'll use it on the job to make sure that the artist avoid halftones when possible. Or hopefully there could be a workaround this.
It shouldn't... there might be something you are doing wrong? If you want help, or if you want us at Toon Boom to check your stuff and see if there is an issue with the feature, reach out to: Desk@toonboom.com and cc melacelle@toonboom.com
How did you do the paint effect been trying to figure out how to do a boiling effect with a rig I thought that effect that you used on the dragon is perfect
