Mass Immigration already brings identity crisis to a nation . The least you can do to protect its identity is learning their language and respecting their culture .

Respect german culture means respect Hitler, an austrian, and kebab, which is oriental. Does Germany have anything else, except cars? But since german cars today are made in Turkey using parts from Indonesia, are they really german anymore?

One thing that I'd like to mention is that the German government (bundesamt) pays 50% of the German language course fee for immigrants and if one completes the course and passes the exam, they may receive additional payback of the course fee.
Immigrants should have a sense of gratitude for this provision.

Then how would you interact with the locals and integrate into the culture? The beauty of experiencing a new country is all about learning their language and culture. Germans are so tolerant that they still communicate with you in English in multi-kulti places like Berlin.

@@kunaldharmendrakumar1792 sorry, forgot to reply. 1. If you want to reach B2 level fast like within a year then you need to join language school and work hard accordingly. 2. to improve vocabulary i would suggest read as much as possible, read what you enjoy. Never byheart the words, and i never did. 3. The biggest suggestion i would say you need to have a some sort of deadline. Like you want to appear B2 exam in 6 months. This is important because it will give urgency to study. Motivation is overrated..
      4. Another suggestion i would give is: Dont be afraid to make mistakes, you will not understand everything and thats fine. Just dont be stuck at one point, like you dont know what a sentence means while reading, just move on, you dont know to say complete sentence, thats fine..just keep speaking.
for materials i follow what my language pantheon has suggested me. apart from that i listen a lot german radio (download Deutsch FM Radio and use WDR 5 channel), i also watch lot of youtube vlogs and leaning videos

Language is not just a communication skill, it is part of the culture and it is important to understand how Germans and Germany work. It is necessary for integration, to make friends, to be able to experience Germany and understand officals. If you just to come to Germany to take advantage of getting high level education for free, stay away. Your "free" eduction is paid by the taxpayers in Germany. If you not want to honor them, not want to give anything back to the hosting country, prefer laziness in learning that language, ask yourself if you are really able and willing to move to another country. Refusing to learn that language just because it takes time or might be expensive is ignorant and lazy.

I too come from India but spent five very happy years in Germany in the 1960’s at Regensburg University. Learning the language was of course required but also vital to get the fullness of the experience. The Anglo Saxon conviction that only people who speak English are worth speaking to is pathetic. We as Indians should be the last people to endorse this view of the world. The idea that you want to move to a country and refuse to engage with something as important as its language is ridiculous - just like all these British retirees who moved to Spain and who, years later, can hardly order a cup of coffee in idiomatic Spanish is beyond comprehension. Is this really the example young Indians who have the chance and the privilege to move to Germany want to follow? Making friends and understanding the country where you have chosen to live will be so enriched. I have lost none of my culture and Hindi remains my own language. The fact that I have mastered four other languages makes me appreciate my own culture better.

From my standpoint, learning the German language must be made compulsory for all immigrants for the longest term possible because definitely a country must first pay homage and a tribute to its language first. and I am one with the German government on this point. If you want to live and work in any European country, life is much easier if you can speak the local language , and integrate yourself into the culture. Germans( or whoever) are double helpful and friendlier if you speak the language, and believe me, one would face less discrimination at work or at public places. Since i speak, read and write Dutch language reasonably fluent, it is much easier to mingle along with the native people here in Belgium. They are much more accepting , I mean my Belgian colleagues , neighbours, or just a stranger to strike up a conversation. I know of Indians living here, barely speaking the language...soon feeling isolated.....

Using Michel Thomas Method, you can learn German up to B1 and probably higher in about 50 hours. I did the same. I happened to do the 50 hours in about a months' time. Anybody can do that. You need no classes, no teachers, no courses, nothing. Problem solved. Learning the language is not the main issue here. The issue you need to be concerned with before coming to Germany, especially from India, is why exactly are you doing it in the first place. Sure, you might get great jobs at great automobile companies and earn lots of money (which is not that easy in Germany) but at the end of the day, you lose so much when you finally make to Germany. You lose all you had in India and instead, get a good job and some money. Now you are doomed to working in a fancy company for the rest of your life. It's worth remembering that you are not a machine. The little nice things you get in India, you would never get them in Germany and they are often worth a thousand fancy companies and all the money in the world. The little nice things are the mosambi juice wala on the side of the road or the warmth and friendship in people around you. Germans are not bad people but they are generally not friendly or warm.

@@sneha11111 What you are saying is true. Statistically speaking, Germany is not the right place for friendship. For friendship, you have a much better chance if you go to some place like India because it is an indispensable part of the India culture. Germany is not a bad place but you don't go to Germany for things like friendship. You would find friendship in Germany as well but you have to search way too much.

Also one most important thing that i observed from your previous videos that German colleges are giving extra privilege to people who know German where as Indian colleges including the (prestigious IIT and IIM) never do such discrimination. No matter if you speak Hindi or not if you are eligible and if you qualify the particular exam you are welcome. See, I completely agree that you MUST study the native language of the land.
But my issue is that in countries like Denmark, they teach FREE danish in their Masters program itself.
Whereas in Germany learning German is quite costly and they expect Indians to learn German from their hometown which is a bit unfair imo.
Not being rude at all but I personally think that Germany should embrace atleast providing FREE German lessons in Germany to International students.
What do you think about it Bharat?
    Kindly share your opinions.

No, english is the universal language, even illiterate people in third world countries who deal with tourists from around the world know relatively some english, like it or not english is the world's lingua franca, and there is nothing wrong with that even if colonialism is the thing that brought this situation by. Throughout history there had been many examples of this, like french in europe during the 19th century, greek in the levant at the end of the iron age, Persian in india during the Mughal empire. Arabic in Spain during the Ummayyad kingdom there and later before the Castiallin conquest. Your calling what the guy has commented BS is nothing but undermining the actual truth.
Other European countries allow for foreigners to get by in their countries using only english, yet German's inflated pride prevents them from accepting that, this poses a great problem especially when German's bureaucracy is so extensive as it is which brings about much more challenges for expats, German is not a simple language to learn, I also have struggled with learning this language and I"m a doctor, who already speaks three languages other than english. As a doctor I must be able to speak German to handle patients here but I don't think it's necessary for people in other careers.

Heee lots of people are asking how are you going to interact with locals ......you don’t have to because German s are very reserved people not so mingling in nature....you only need German in public office and customer services and getting job in German companies ......so don’t be having a impression you will have a good thriving social community if you know German .German is not at all a easy language it’s grammar is complex no logic applies like English .....there are lots of exceptions for every rule and in a pursuit of making your language skill better you may end up hating it.....ya if you consciously and actively try you may succeed but to a level to conduct meetings presentations for job etc is all new ball game.....you may think your work is hard learning German would be much harder .....it could be easier for younger generations like students .....

When you are an adult with job, responsibilities and your own family. Every minute of your day counts. University times are different everybody helps each other out.

Well, german itself is a difficult language to learn than any other languages and it takes years to learn it and be fluent. It might sound easy to some and difficult to others. Depends upon person to person. Germany have an older population who speak mostly German Language but I don't think it is same now. As the internet has progressed younger generation of Germany know how to speak English. Still for immigration and foreign students the language barrier plays a huge role. It's always better for foreigners if Germany allows more English speaking jobs. "Forcing" is a wrong word, I totally agree because one have a choice to move to Canada or US afterwards. But, still I feel, apart from field work jobs, English should be more in use. Even in India, people speak in English at co-operates, paper works are in English. Hence, if Germany is making immigration policies easy and comfortable for foreigners, then they should also use English for paper works, at least they should give a choice, same like in India. We can have paper works done both in English and Regional language. Hence, it would be helpful, if Germany also give us this option.
