I'm watching this video a second time because I did a major splurge for myself and bought this clalendar. I''m iin tthe US and it came to $280. I've never spent that much money on myself but I love Elemis. I ordered it after watching your unboxing. The reason I'm watching it again is because I remember you giving extra info and I trust your opinion. I know it is very expensive but I'm 68 and wanted to try a full line of skincare. I'm loving it once I recovered from the cost.😅 The clay facial wash smells amazing! I got the body wash and creaam. I think they must have a warehouse in New Jersey (their tax was $20). No import taxes. I tink it came from NJ and that was their tax. It didn't come from UK. I looked on Elemis for a skincare routine and iwth your tips have been loving it. @@intrepidbun5002

The price / value per ml based on the sizes in the calendar that Karen mentions in this video come to a total of £494.25 if I added it all up correctly ( £305 saving buying at £189 ) , so I'm not sure where elemis have come up with the value of £551. I do love Elemis but a bit disappointed with the lack of full size products 🤔
I use the calendars to store Christmas ornaments. I have so many and they really do make it easy to pack and store your ornaments. I think Elemis will be on my list this year.
Thought I'd pick this up, but in the end realized it wasn't worth it with all the tiny sizes. I did however see a lot of gift boxes that they've released (with about 30%-40% savings) online. And you can also get a GWP with those, unlike the advent calendar!
@@pammyair yep, I already picked one up! It has the Day and Night pro-collagen creams (50ml each), priced at £135 (worth £202) It's very strange though, they don't show up when you search for them. I found them by scrolling to the bottom of the page, and looking at "Related Products" Maybe they want people to concentrate on the Advent calendar first 😜 P.S. There are 17 different gift sets this year (I could find 16 of them)

The design of the box is really nice ! I'm not really familiar with Elemis, but I wanted to gift my aunt a massage in London and the salon has some massages using Elemis products, so I'm happy to learn about them with you review here 🙂
I really love Elemis however feel that their gift sets are more value for money. In all of this calendar the sizes are tiny other than day 25. Thanks for sharing though 😊

@@danielllleXnot sure about the mystery boxes, but Elemis has released a whole lot of gift sets online...most have a 30-40% discount. I picked up the one with the day & night creams (50ml each). There are also 2 codes available on their site, if you purchase something £140 or more. Definitely worth looking into those. Hope this helps! 😊
Thanks so much for this unboxing. I’ve gotten my Mum into skincare now and she’s got her eye on this one. I think she’ll pretty much use most of these bits and pieces. I think the cost of the overall value comes from what they charge for those smaller sizes instead of the ml equivalent of their full size. It’s a shame that they’ve done that to be honest, but I still think I’ll get this for my Mum 😊
Omg I have been watching all you videos and I love this one although I have not used Elemis products before, but I do want some great high end skin products. I was a little put off by the smaller sizes, but can definitely see the value in this box and it is really cute too. I only just realised that we can get this in Australia. I was waiting for the Cult Beauty and Space NK boxes as I see they have much bigger products. But after going over and over it all, I discovered that by purchasing the Elemis box I am able to get 10 free products plus a couple sachet samples so easily another A$500 value added to my order AND free postage! Amazing! Thankyou so much for your awesome video ❤️
I think i will pass on this one. I've had the elemis advent calendar for the last two years and loved it. But now I know the brand and have my favourites, I don't feel like need all of this. It's a great one for newbies to elemis but not for me this year.

I was happy to sign up for the waitlist on August 8th and currently it is unavailable for purchase through your link or directly on the Elemis website. Disappointing to me as I hoped to purchase it on September 1st, or on 2nd or 3rd for that matter. I messaged them regarding my interests. Still waiting for a reply. At this time I can only surmise thry arent offering this calendar to people outside of the UK - possibly due to the one Frangipani product.. Glossybox recently restricted selling their monthly box subscriptions to Americans.. So I'm a little perplexed and saddened by whatever's going on. 😥
Update: Now available to purchase in the U.S. at a cost of $260 plus add tax and shipping - would be over $300. Will have to pass on this one as I already preordered Look Fantastic and P.Louise. So hopefully next year for Elemis. 😊
Really disappointed with this one : it's really expensive but there's only one full size on the 25th otherwise they are all small sizes or samples. I actually don't know how the value can be that high, it's a huge no for me but I recon the design is really cute. Thanks a lot for posting this video, really helpfull and interresting 😊

The main thing with this calendar besides the obvious math that doesn’t actually make sense, is that this is skincare, so with these sizes depending on the product you might not be able to test them for a significant amount of time so what’s the point? And I know value is relative to each person and Elemis is stupid expensive, but we all know these companies could have given way more full size products so I don’t personally see the value for money. And you always see Elemis in other boxes of subscriptions and stuff like that so you know they like to wholesale you know? 😂

I Just bought two sets from cult beauty because of an Elemis gift with purchase they were giving and they had a 25% discount. Can you please explain the change in the name of the night cream? I have been looking for the oxygenating one, so now it's just "night cream"? Because I am getting a night cream in the sets I bought and thought it was a new product for me. PS I also love, adore the night matrix as well!

I love the designs of Elemis boxes. I think they are the most beautiful, especially this one but I really don't enjoy their products, especially the skincare. Gorgeous box though
It'a such a bland design, and same old box 25 every year. I think it's the worst elemis calendar design in many years, it looks like something with chocolate coins you'd buy at the post office for your neighbors kids. I think I'd prefer the William Morris packaged edition of the marine cream as at least it's nice to look at, though less value. Usual mainstays like this and Cult Beauty are let downs this year, in my opinion. Hoping Rituals have something a bit more festive to look at tomorrow

most companies, maybe all, seem to hyper inflate the 'values' but they're all making huge profits whether selling items on sale or at 'retail' price

QVC elemis bundles are better value imo. You won't see any results with the products in this calendar. Hard pass from me.
