You're the Voice 2023 Social Justice Day

The 5th of May is the Feast of Blessed Edmund Rice. To honour his legacy as a servant leader, Catholic Colleges in the Christchurch diocese gathered to unpack social justice teachings with guest speakers, local clergy and youth leaders. The event was sponsored by the Catholic Development Fund, and was organised by the Aotearoa Edmund Rice Justice Trust with Saint Thomas of Canterbury College. Christchurch, New Zealand (5/5/23).
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of
love and service.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord,
