Hi. Very helpful. Can you please make a video for working in indirect vision and operator’s position. It does need a lot of practice but any tips or advice will be so helpful. Thankyou
Hi Ash, you are welcome. If you are a right-handed operator, then 9 O'clock position is suggested. Use direct and indirect vision to enhance the clinical outcomes. Best wishes & love. Thanks sir for sharing these helpful informations . i was wondering what is the best position while endodontically treating mandibular right molars , as i find it very difficult to see the orifices during access cavity preparation.
Sara Ahmad Hi Sarah. It will be the same as discussed in the video however you need to use indirect vision (mouth mirror) to visualise mesial canals 👍🏻
Hi Chopper, previously it was thought to be the brain which determines whether one is left / right handed. But new research indicates that it's the spinal cord. Check out the following information & reference article. Best wishes & love. Hi Naina, glad to hear that. You have to get used to indirect vision to avoid MSDs (Muskulo skeletal disorders) like spondylitis, lower back pain etc. Practice.
Sir please make a detailed video on identification of preclinical conservative dentistry instruments (eg-how to identify gmt and how to distinguish mesial and distal ) ,sir please do consider Thank you
Hi Varad. No specific angulation as position varies from being over head to being positioned over neck depending up on the tooth that's being operated.
Practice is the only tip I would suggest through this platform. Also use finger rests for retraction of soft tissues and from preventing them obscuring the vision. Best wishes Ahmed.

Any dental entrance is based on information given in standard literature. Following MCQ based guides will only mislead you. Always rely on information provided in standard literature if you wish to maintain standards in your way of preparation. I understand that guides are an easy go. But easy doesn't mean correct, easy doesn't mean accurate and easy always means taking things for granted. Hope its clear and wish you all the best. By the way one can't accurately measure the angulation in order to seat the patient. It's 45 to 60 degrees.
they say, the key to understand anything is to fully understand the basics, and you are a pro in making us understand the basics.. Thank you Sir

Good one sir... Cover those topics which are more commonly asked in entrance exam as NEET is approaching shortly sir! Thanks in advance👏
Joshua Martin sure 👍🏻
nice video sir. But how to work on maxillary posterior teeth (occlusal surface) if I can't work in indirect vision ?
Hi Naina, glad to hear that. You have to get used to indirect vision to avoid MSDs (Muskulo skeletal disorders) like spondylitis, lower back pain etc. Practice.
You can make use of optical aides like loupes or microscopes if feasible.
Sir please make a detailed video on identification of preclinical conservative dentistry instruments (eg-how to identify gmt and how to distinguish mesial and distal ) ,sir please do consider
