Cording is even more annoying than lymphodema! I had cording twice now. First, after sentinel node biopsy they extended up to my elbow, but also across the shoulder to the back and even through the chest. Exercises on your channel vere invaluable, really! I got it under control to the point of feeling tension but having full range of motion.
..and then I had auxilary clearence and cords returned with vengance.
This time they extend up to my wrist, all four of them. Now, this hurts like hell. Exercises are still very helpful, but progres is slower and everything around elbow joint and wrist effing hurts when I attempt to fully tension the cord.
Could you perhaps tell me if there's a risk I mess up my joints (they were perfectly fine before surgery), or is it fine to constantly push through the pain?

I can’t comment specifically on your case but the joints can feel like they’re affected because of the tension with the cords…not necessarily because there’s an issue with your actual joints. If you’re not getting any treatment you may consider it as it would speed up your recovery time. Keep at it with the rehab as it sounds even more stubborn for you the second time around.
