An odd thing to watch for on H&M, different colours of the same style can be made in completely different fabrics. So if you want to avoid Polyester, check the composition per colour:)
The tube dress go up one size, the kaftan is great for pool, but also I could see dressing it up by cinching it with an obi belt or some sort of belt. All the loose dresses what I love about those is you can wear them baggy and effortless and belt them to dress them up. If you don't feel comfortable and confident in it find something that you do feel great in, but they are all cute. Just go up one size in the brown tube dress.
Definitely size up on those knit dresses, those horizontal creases means they’re too tight, plus they should be really comfy. Sizing up makes one look slimmer, tight makes one look bursting out!

I vote that you get a sewing machine and do your own alterations, or hems at least. It’s so easy, just watch one or two basic YT videos on it. I do all my own alterations, it’s saved me thousands over the years. It just makes more sense for an inexpensive garment, it would cost more than the purchase price to get them hemmed by a tailor here in California, it can more than double the price.

I would have bought it if it was true white, but H&M’s “whites” are always ivory, it drives me nuts. Yellowish ivory doesn’t suit my coloring or work with my wardrobe.

I haven't had an issue with wearing lighter colors so far, sometimes I think it's better since things like spit up are usually lighter colored as well.
