In today's video, I'm going to be attempting to make my OWN JPerm RS3M 2020 by observing how @JPerm made it when he visited SpeedCubeShop, and trying to replicate that setup!

why dont u loosen it to 5 or 3-4 it wont make much of a difference when it is at 5 right
and dont u think u put a little too much weight 1, 4 drops on each center piece
Does this setup last long? Also do you need to lube the tracks of the cube like in Jperm’s speed cube setup vid (where he lubes just the tracks of one piece with weight 5)?

Hey guys I need help my rs3m has spring noise I have the qiyi lube should I add it on spring or just in cube

HOLY COW i tried this and i liked my cube even better!!! its like u bought a new cube with a different setup like WOW. but the downside of it is that its a little bit messy with the lubing but all in all the setup is good its a 100/10 for me
Wipe the outsides of the cube so it isn't covered in lube.

@@cubedude1710 yea in my opinion you should never ever make your cube slower by tensioning it (maybe 1 or 2 but never over). Its better to make it slow by lubes.
Pumpkinut its probably because you put a little bit to much weight 1 but its just an opinion on if you like it or not

Hardest part is to deal with the tension. You need to get perfect tension till you get 45 degree corner cutting.
Most cubes still have near perfect corner cutting, even when tight
Can I use Adheron light and heavy if so how many drops on corner piece and center

when you get a J perm cube, maybe you can make a compare then and see how well the DIY Jperm setup holds up against it!

Should the spring compression be on 7 th setting after lubing?
you may do that, you can do it before or after
so u can just get the maglev and u dont have to put lunar in the middle, and what does weight 1 do to the cube
it makes your cube controllable, and yes you don't need to put it if you have MagLev

it depends, you can put six drops in one spot, or 1 drop in almost every place

a bit over? I just don’t want to waste any lube. And how long do I have to wait until I lube it again?
normally you want to put in 6 drops by stretching a side and then putting the lube in, and you should refill the lube when it feels like its losing performance
its not wasting, it makes the cube silent and faster

You can use cubelelo weight 1 for the traxxas 10k. But i think lunar you must buy
what happens if u use less weight 5 insted of weight 1?
it'll work but likely be a bit slower.
i tried this using similar lubes i have, and it sucked lmao
the cube turned out so slow, i had to wipe it all off and lube it again. maybe 24 drops of fast lube + 4 drops of slow lube isn't a good idea
or maybe it only works with SCS lubes idk

Thanks! I use Final Cut Pro (which is paid and Apple only) but I’d recommend DaVinci Resolve, it’s free and great.

Lunar is good if you want moderately fast. Stardust is good if you want smth really fast. I’d suggest Lunar.

Np! 6 drops on pieces and 4 drops in screws. Yes, it would be a good idea to clean it beforehand btw.
