The most AFK way of training Runecrafting is Guardians of the Rift. I went from 86-99 on my Iron there and you only have to pay attention like 30 seconds of each game. Method: [Inventory of nothing but Colossal Pouch and 10x Empty Cells] 1. Go AFK Mining (optional, you can just totally afk) when the game starts until you hear Windows alert you that a portal has opened (Requires Runelite GotR Plugin). 2. Delete the fragments you have mined while running to the portal. Enter portal and fill up on essence (Should be 66, 40 in Pouch, 26 Inv) 3. Leave the portal, go into any Red/Green Alter (Blood, Death, Fire, Earth, Nature, Law) and craft all 66 runes. Leave the Alter. 4. Hand in the Guardian Essence, use the Overcharged/Strong Cell on ANY barrier (ideally one not full HP for extra RC exp) and go back to afk mining. This only gets you around 30-33k per hour, but it's very good to do while working etc as it's so AFK and over an 8 hour day that's 250k so it adds up.
My favourite would probably be the nightmare zone and bird house runs/tree runs. Started playing again after many years and closing in on 99 farming. Never would i have thought farming might be my first 99 skill. And also Moneda
Nightmare zone is actually profitable if you buy herb boxes, I made it about 200-250k moneda per hour. Obviously you have to come collect the boxes each day but there's a free activity teleport right there so it's not a bad daily and you can grab sand from bert while your there and then go to micellania with the fairy ring so it fits in quite nicely.
@@RacePicsnVids You mean the teleport? You can go to the grouping tab on the chat tab and select the nightmare zone then click the teleport button at the bottom. It's like the home teleport where its free but has a cooldown.
You said that NMZ makes no profit bit thats not true. I highly recommend after imbueing all your rings just spend all points on herb boxes. I think its like a 150k profit everyday (you can only open 15 boxes a day). If you're lucky on the herbs this is great extra money.
Just started the fossil island crabs for some cheeky combat and trying to make a start in the fossils for some free prayer exp I used to do NMZ but get too stressed about wasting absorbtions if not always back down to 1hp. And I hope you're holding your end of the deal and giving Moneda lots of kisses!
Combining tree runs with herb runs of a profitable herb like ranarr will actually make the combined tree/herb run slightly profitable. Farming xp is good but so is moneda
If you're going to be smithing cannonballs get the double ammo mould from the Giant's Foundry minigame so you make double the ammount of cannonballs. Decent moneymaker earlygame because there's always going to be a demand for them, and you can double your money you spend on the steel bars
Favorite AFK method has to be plank make, but weave in herb runs and birdhouses. Don't sleep on Miscellania either, especially you have them focusing on mahogany logs to use for more plank make
How to afk Runecrafting if you are high level: Low-intensity Guardians of the Rift. You just wait for portals to show up (the GotR plugin in runelite notifies you of when they come up), and do 1-2 runs. This will get you the required 150 total points for the RC xp drop. I'm level 93 and I get 4185 RC xp each mini-game. In my inv, I only use the colossal pouch, a rune pouch with runes for NPC Contact, and uncharged cells. If on my first run I can go to an overcharged cell altar (Death, Blood or Fire), one inv will get me 130 points in either elemental or catalytic. Using the overcharged cell gets me another 30, for a 160 total. So when this happens I can get enough points for a run, and I can just wait for the next game. If you don't care about pulling rewards, you can do combination runes which guarantee you get over the 150 points in one inventory, but you'll only get elemental energy. In my down time I just mine fragments for token mining xp. At level 94 I average about 32-34k RC xp/h, and 5-6k mining xp/h. It's somewhat active when you have to do a run but then after at most 2, you can afk for the rest of the entire game which is what? 4-5 mins of complete afk? Not the best xp, but I can do this during work because I work from home and it adds up. Doing only 6 hours to account for breaks and the fact I might not do this all the time it's like 180k xp every day in one of the worst skills.
Having a high magic level is always a great thing to have, so making planks is an excellent way for me to train magic AFK while also making some Moneda along the way!
My favorite AFK method for cratfing on a low level of it is smelting Gold Bracelets It takes some time, but for example in Al-Kharid there is a furnace very close to the bank On top of that I earn quite nice amount of money (buying gold bars 140/ea, selling bracelets for 272) Also for Magic training I like to go to Wizard's Tower and keep attacking Lesser Demon on top floor (He has negative magic defensive stats) And if u are on the right level, bring Telekitenic Grab to pick up Vile Ashes (boosting Prayer +25 XP after kill on top of that, or to sell those - 600/ea) Moneda
My favorite AFK activity honestly DOES have to be Hunter. Not entirely AFK but I just enjoy Hunter all together and it'll be the next 99 I want to aim for. Not making any Moneda but hey, it's a nice cape to grab before the Hunting Guild.
don't hate on the duke mining method - I've gone from 75-80 mining there since finishing DT2. I literally click once every 25 mins while doing other stuff like cooking, cleaning, exercise etc.

If you have a kraken task, you can go to the boss and afk attack it with mage and its like splashing but you get the damage xp and kraken doesnt die if you dont wake it.... moneda

I do vyrewatch sentinels while running 3-7 miles at a time. Keep the high pray with good damage/accuracy so I only have to click once in a good while. Got to love the AFK grind. Moneda
For afk construction on my alt I trained at nmz with only monsters that dropped long bones and I went from 30-55 instantly at the goblin guy. It’s a bit of a stretch to call it afk con but it’s something.

If I'm doing remote work and I have to pay attention to my screen, NMZ is 100% the way to go. Super afk and always nice to spend those points on herb boxes. If I'm looking for something semi afk, while I watch a movie or something, some slayer tasks or even wintertodt isn't bad. All things considered, wintertodt isn't that click intensive until you start fletching/burning. The chopping and downtime inbetween games helps the afk aspect. Moneda
i guess Infernal eels + 25min timer runelite plugin, of course this is not max efficiency xp/moneda wise but its nice to just click once every time you Alt+tab whenever you get the chance
I'm still in F2P so my favorite AFK activity is most def leveling ranged with the moss giants. Those guys eat up so many arrows + you can safe spot them. Super chill to do while watching youtube and only require a few clicks per minute. Also, MONEDA!
My favorite are cannonballs at Edgevile, afking them while doing other stuff on PC. Still low lvl for other methods. Not good Moneda, but still decent for amount of time I can afk.
Nightmare Zone is freaking addictive if you don't want to do anything in-game that requires your constant attention yet still want really good xp/hr rates. I would so do it 24/7 if not for the fact that I need Slayer exp too. Moneda!

Enchanting jewellery is a good magic one and profitable especially at lower levels like sapphire rings. For redwoods if you have fletch high enough take the tools to make shields and book of fire and nature runes and alc the shields. Profit and experience. I was doing arrow shafts in WC guild for awhile. Chop a maple until full. Then fletch arrow shafts (60 per). Chop logs again. Just need to click again usually every minute or so then afk for another minute. Decent experience and the arrow shafts are worth alot more than the logs, but still less than a maple long but the trade-off is not needing to bank.
Ranged training at the Nightmare zone with a Venator bow is also great afk exp (about 150k per hour at 90), or you can do it at the skeletal monkeys at mm1 caves with a salve amulet (ei) for even more afk exp (about 170k exp per hour, just make sure you watch your prayer)
I mean sure, but the bow works well for cheap afk ranged training. 30gp per shot and the arrows are only 65ea compared to 800 per red chinchompa. @@kooler999ify
I enjoy afking at sand crabs on fossil island, very good melee/ranged/magic xp rates for lower level along with unidentified fossil drops for that juicy varrock mueseum xp
For tree runs I do my daily Papayas has taken me from 57-93 making a small profit, at this stage i'll also throw in Calquats, redwoods, celastrus, Hespori, a sibgle snapdragon i harvest once per day, spirit trees and Mahogany's with ultra compost, but it still works out to a profit
I dont know what Moneda is, but it sounds interesting... i would definitely say that farming is my favourite afk skill, as you can break even or potentially make a profit skilling it up to 99, and it really doesnt take that much time! Thanks for the great vids btw
I really like doing sacred eels for a chance at the heron pet. Let's hope the heron (currently at 15m xp) doesn't take as long as the beaver did (47m xp). Moneda!
Depending on physically where I'm playing, I either moneda afk skeletal wyverns with a dragon crossbow, rune bolts, Karissa, and a bone crusher. Great ranged xp and profit is great. Or, motherlode mine because I can't mine amethyst.

I'd say its fair to call it afk if compared to barb fishing for agility.

You can also use the lava vent next to the bank in the inner tzaar city for cooking. They also share the same tile

My favorite afk method currently is fishing monkfish until level 80. Also, Moneda is the CUTEST Pupper on this planet
I'm still in F2P so my favorite AFK activity is most def leveling ranged with the moss giants. Those guys eat up so many arrows + you can safe spot them. Super chill to do while watching youtube and only require a few clicks per minute. Also, MONEDA!
doing gotr with some rcing so you get the rc experience moneda drop

My favorite are cannonballs at Edgevile, afking them while doing other stuff on PC. Still low lvl for other methods. Not good Moneda, but still decent for amount of time I can afk.
favorite is combat training at crabs. It was the first method where I found the ways of AFKing

Nightmare Zone is freaking addictive if you don't want to do anything in-game that requires your constant attention yet still want really good xp/hr rates. I would so do it 24/7 if not for the fact that I need Slayer exp too. Moneda!

Enchanting jewellery is a good magic one and profitable especially at lower levels like sapphire rings.
For redwoods if you have fletch high enough take the tools to make shields and book of fire and nature runes and alc the shields. Profit and experience.
I was doing arrow shafts in WC guild for awhile. Chop a maple until full. Then fletch arrow shafts (60 per). Chop logs again. Just need to click again usually every minute or so then afk for another minute. Decent experience and the arrow shafts are worth alot more than the logs, but still less than a maple long but the trade-off is not needing to bank.
Ranged training at the Nightmare zone with a Venator bow is also great afk exp (about 150k per hour at 90), or you can do it at the skeletal monkeys at mm1 caves with a salve amulet (ei) for even more afk exp (about 170k exp per hour, just make sure you watch your prayer)
Chinning is the way to go. Just go chinning
I mean sure, but the bow works well for cheap afk ranged training. 30gp per shot and the arrows are only 65ea compared to 800 per red chinchompa. @@kooler999ify

I enjoy afking at sand crabs on fossil island, very good melee/ranged/magic xp rates for lower level along with unidentified fossil drops for that juicy varrock mueseum xp

For tree runs I do my daily Papayas has taken me from 57-93 making a small profit, at this stage i'll also throw in Calquats, redwoods, celastrus, Hespori, a sibgle snapdragon i harvest once per day, spirit trees and Mahogany's with ultra compost, but it still works out to a profit
Fav AFK method has gotta be the cannonballs, but with the double ammo mould. It makes it less afk than a regular mold, but profit/hour raises. Moneda!
I dont know what Moneda is, but it sounds interesting... i would definitely say that farming is my favourite afk skill, as you can break even or potentially make a profit skilling it up to 99, and it really doesnt take that much time! Thanks for the great vids btw

I really like doing sacred eels for a chance at the heron pet. Let's hope the heron (currently at 15m xp) doesn't take as long as the beaver did (47m xp). Moneda!

Depending on physically where I'm playing, I either moneda afk skeletal wyverns with a dragon crossbow, rune bolts, Karissa, and a bone crusher. Great ranged xp and profit is great. Or, motherlode mine because I can't mine amethyst.
