This is when Madden was at its peak, I remember I made a beastly DE who got drafted by the Lions, he was mad brolic with a bull tattoo on his arm, he broke the sack record every season, and after like 5 seasons I retired him and made the HOF, me and Shaun Rogers were destroying everything, simpler times 😭

I made a white receiver who went to the Packers. He was basically Jordy Nelson before Jordy Nelson lol. Would torch the Lions every time because they had mediocre DBs.

Just refurbished my PS2 and I’m currently rocking this on my bedroom. Caught a decent original PS2 controller off EBay, now I’m set. (Got my genesis alongside, playing live 96, madden 93 and sports talk 94! Damn , Dad life got me becoming a gamer again lol)

This game was my young childhood once I got my ps2 I played it nonstop I created so many players, teams, fans, plays, etc. That this game took up most of my memory card

Franchise mode was so good back then. I even use to not even play the actual games. I would just be doing the franchise mode. Its trash now

Doesn’t count unless you’re playing All madden, maybe All pro. Otherwise that’s how I play, working the clock is essential for any game.
This game came out before I was born, found out about it and It’s probably my favorite madden ever
I remember doing a franchise mode in this. Always stealing the likes of Shaun Rogers, Jeff Saturday, Tra Thomas, Willie Anderson, Todd Heap and John Abraham as FAs on long deals before CPUs begin to battle 3 year deals on them.
This was the last good madden before it started going downhill. Change my mind.
In my opinion last good madden was madden 17. madden 18, 19,20, 21, 13, 09 were the worst

Back when I was 8 I would play this on my ps2. At that time I knew nothing about football but I would just play it. For some reason It felt fun to play for god only knows why and the very first time I played it on Xbox one for 2016, the game just didn’t felt good. I just don’t understand how I didn’t like to play nfl games as they got newer.
It’s the game plus all the players that were on this roster we grew up with them 💯💯💯
They just dont make them as well as they used too its all recycled garbage every year

No one understand. Madden '04, '05, '06, '07, '07... It just keep getting better and better but once it transitioned to PS4 it got worse regardless of advance technology and design. Madden 24 smh

Do you know how to put a receiver in motion. I can't figure it out. I thought you can when I use to play
Push stick backwards while in formation, then receivers are highlighted and you can give them alternate routes too or make them block. Works on G cube. You have complete control, and you can switch to any player on the line before snap and play as that character offense.
I prefer Madden 06 because I hate the joystick kicking mechanic in this one

Yeah this was a good one. I picked up Madden 24 and it's actually good. But it's the first one I've gotten in 3 years, you deff don't need to get it every year.
