A delicious pasta in cream of mushroom sauce | The Crazy Chef

This is a very tasty pasta dish made with your choice of pasta and a creamy mushroom sauce to serve 2 people. I have used brown spaghetti, but you can use linguine which would be more suitable. The object is to use what you have in your larder with no hard and fast rules. Other items include 400-450g of mushrooms, one white onion diced, three shallots diced, grated cheese (cheddar used here), butter and creme fraiche. No hard and fast quantities, but I used one tablespoon of creme fraiche, two hand fulls of grated cheese, and a large knob of butter. The object of the exercise is to make cooking fun. If you like it and make it more often then you can experiment with the quantities. I used half white mushrooms and half chestnut mushrooms.
