I think Nova is enamored with Alita. She is an URM berserker. Her android body embodies the magic of a long gone glorious era. Her sword comes to life with her plasma energy and cuts like a light saber. She is a master of Panzer Kunst, a fighting system developed for zero gravity combat. It would be like one of the pre-flood humans being alive in our era, who had the magic to move 1000 ton blocks.
