Guinea pigs are no match for larger animals such as cats, but against each other, or even rats, they will scratch and bite and their teeth are sharp. They can be downright vicious. I raised piggies as a kid, and while they look dopey--and they aren't too bright--they have tempers.
I had piggies for around 20 years (getting my first 2 when I was in my 40s). Absolutely perfect pets although much more expensive than many people imagine. It's great that you show the variety of fruit and vegetables they love (and need). Hopefully, anyone considering buying a Guinea Pig (or a rabbit) for a child will realise, through watching your videos, that piggies and rabbits need company of their own kind, exercise, space to play and explore and shouldn't be kept in a hutch all day long. Sadly too many pets don't get the proper love and attention your's obviously enjoy. Love watching your "extended family" 😊💖

So between both sides of my family, I learned to crochet and use regular yarn. Crocheting buttery soft baby blankets are my fave. Also, both sides of my family enjoy tea. It’s a global drink. There’s nothing quite as relaxing as mindlessly crocheting and sipping hot tea. You get into the zone and your mind wonders.

Just be careful with the knives, one could have run on to the board when the knife was laying down, could have cut his little foot. Very happy piggies, they clearly have a great life 👍

It was the first warmish day this year in the UK so our piggies loved getting outside for a bit to eat some fresh grass! It'll be another month or so before they're out full time for the summer again.

We just lost our beloved pig today.. old age. And one a year ago, also loved and lived a happy life. Eating delicious fruit and veg was their life passion. One couldn’t stand to be in a cage so she ran free in the house. She had her favorite paper bag hideouts so it was easy to clean up. Thanks for the videos! They are fun to watch. Pig paradise. They have it good there.
Guinea pigs are great off grid animals to keep for hard times as they make great tasting protein. My uncle had to eat rabbits they raised during the Great Depression as their only form of meat, but these animals taste better and reproduce faster.

Guinea pigs are great little animals, full of personality and very vocal, their constant chatter as they move around is very endearing. They make excellent pets but must never be kept alone. Their wild ancestors probably lived in groups so they should be kept as a minimum of two. I had several pairs of males. If they start living together as babies they soon bond and will happily live together for their whole life.I understand that keeping two females together can lead to fightingSadly they don't live very long but one of mine lived for seven years
I’ve had horses dogs parrots goats but my group of guinea pigs with parakeets was so special and they were so happy. I think the Guineapigs lived around 8-9 years. I miss them

My partner had guinea pigs as a boy in Ireland, he had to defrost two of them one winter, were as stiff as boards when he went to feed them in the shed, he lay them out in front of the coal fire and revived them!! they went on to live long lives.

During the pandemic, pet prices has sky rocked. A guinea pig is now $60 and a skinny pig is $120. They have almost tripled their price. I would love to get a pair to keep me company. I would spoil these kids.

I’ve had horses dogs parrots goats but my group of guinea pigs with parakeets was so special and they were so happy. I think the Guineapigs lived around 8-9 years. I miss them

They love to eat vegetables, I think that they don’t have to eat too much sugar cause they can get diabetes, I say this with much respect ❤

My partner had guinea pigs as a boy in Ireland, he had to defrost two of them one winter, were as stiff as boards when he went to feed them in the shed, he lay them out in front of the coal fire and revived them!! they went on to live long lives.

During the pandemic, pet prices has sky rocked. A guinea pig is now $60 and a skinny pig is $120. They have almost tripled their price. I would love to get a pair to keep me company. I would spoil these kids.

to buy a dog is in the thousands of dollars
the other day in Sydney I was meet a lovely French Bull Dog
which the owner had just bought for ten thousand dollars
