Over forty years ago my sister and I was walking through a beautiful neighborhood in Ethiopia. The weather was so calm and peaceful. We past by a home with a café. The owner was a retired professor from Harvard with an Ethiopian wife. They served us a beautiful dish of chicken with a red spicy sauce and the injera bread. We were served with the food in the low basket weaved like table. They were soo polite and delightful. I will never forget that meal.

Never could get used to injera. So wet and cold. But I absolutely love Ethiopian food otherwise.

No , honey. Idk what you is making un ur house but that oil and salt thing dont go in injera. Teff and water and you just let it ferment for days. That’s it. Are you habesha?

One hand dining is the way to go, The “bread “ is called Injera made of a grain called teff. You eat burgers and hot dogs with your hands. Nice work family.
