When Animarchy put up his video about this with this same song, it was also announced that the model for the CFA-44 was being released in August. I don't think the conflict will last that long (at least I think we all hope that's the case) but I am so hyped to get one and paint it with the Ukrainian colors. Long may the Ghost of Kyiv live.
The CFA-44 is a very fitting aircraft for Ukrainian hands. It's designed with Sukhoi influences, was probably stolen off the imperial invaders, and does well when greatly outnumbered.

There was a case during the Iran Iraq war when an Iranian f14 shot down 3 mig23s with just one phoenix missile and in the 1965 Pakistan India war, a PAF f86 sabre shot down 5 hawker hunters in less than a minute. So it is very much possible for a Ukrainian mig29 to shoot down 6 Russian planes in a day.

all this thing of the ghost of kiev, whether real or just propaganda is almost straight out Ace Combat. personally i like to think that the ghost of kiev is like Colonel Tomb of the VPAF. Col. Tomb AKA Nguyen Tuan was the most dangerous ace of north vietnam fabled by the amount of kill markings and victory stars that his MIG-17, the 3020, had. however after the war people realized that Tomb wasn't a single pilot but the airplane itself, shared by several vietnamese aces due their chronic shortage of planes.
The Ghost of Kyiv reminds me a lot of the brave RAF pilots defending their skies against the Germans in 1940, or even the German Pilots defending their cities against overwhelming Allied Air Power in 44-45. He had born on 9th January 1993 and become a legend when in first day of beginning the war his plane destroyed 6 Russian targets- two bombers and four fighters. After this battle mostly newspapers and TV channels started called him “The Ghost of Kyiv”. He died on 13th March 2022 in dogfight with Russian Su35.

Hey Scott, I have to say, this mix is the best way to tribute the Ghost. Maybe try dual mixing Dogfight from Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for another tribute mix-that is if you plan on doing another one. Amazing as always.

Hey Scott, I have to say, this mix is the best way to tribute the Ghost.
Maybe try dual mixing Dogfight from Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for another tribute mix-that is if you plan on doing another one.

I just checked a Wiki.....seems like the city of Gracemaria, within the Ace Combat setting, is the capital of 'Emmeria', a country set between a Scandinavia-ish and Russia-ish country...
And the plot of the game where this comes from is basically a war between Emmeria and the Russia-ish 'Estovakia'. Rather fitting there....
