What a fantastic video! Best I've seen on Liquidation. Free People is my best Selling brand. It all sells eventually. I have bought Liquidation and can relate to all of the thoughts and feelings. To me, it sounds like you made a thoughtful decision , especially considering your current circumstances with your health. You are very smart and doing what you have to do to stay in the game while you recover, and I admire that. You are very inspiring. Xo Quenby
We've been with you on this journey through fundraisers and support with your surgery from the beginning. And we will be with you on the journey to become a full-time reseller. You got some great stuff.
Thanks for sharing! I purchased a small FP box from Fox and my COG was about $20 - We got a few good items but barely broke even (though we sold on Whatnot so we could have gotten more if we waited it out on Posh or eBay). Even though the COG is high sometimes it helps to have these items available in your store to help drive traffic, like you said. Hope you’re feeling well! Miss seeing you on Whatnot! Tino and I still want to come to your area for the bins and hopefully we can grab lunch with you or something! ❤ Love the sign!
Yes Kristen!!! Once my restrictions are lifted and I can go back to the bins I AM Game!!! I would love to hang out with you guys!!! Love you both!! I know I miss Whatnot too-but right now I’m prioritizing listing and getting back into the swing of things on RUclips!! Once I figure out my life and some sort of schedule I’m hoping to add Whatnot back into the mix!
Thanks Hope for being candid about all these liquidation sites. Of course no one on whatnot was going to share any sites. You also followed me on whatnot. I'm no longer on there. I tend to want to try things on before purchasing!! Consider me a reselling colleague from Boston.
Just catching up on RUclips. I’m just a few minutes into your video, but want to encourage you to think about getting a cross listing service and cross more and more to eBay. Posh is good, but I started cross posting daily to eBay and ran a 15% off sale this past weekend and got 7 sales. It’s definitely been beneficial to cross post. Glad you’re doing well ❤. Also, I think Free People is now overly mass produced. In high school way way way back in the early 90’s I wished I could afford it. I loved the style. It’s becoming the step sister for Shein. I still love their boho style and all, but they’ve lost their magic by overly producing. I hope you get your money back.
It’s good to see you back and looking well. Have been praying for a full recovery for you. I bought a BDG liquidation box a few years ago and the cost of goods was higher than I was used to. I did get some Free people in the box but not any Wow items. I’ve always wanted to go to the Free People Outlet store in Georgia. Hope it works out for you, I wish you had some larger sizes. Looks like the XL’s sold out?
Thank you Barb! I’m feeling pretty good! I also would LOVE to go to the FP liquidation store !!! There’s a few around the US!! My L/XL sold out SO fast!!! But for great money so-so far so good!!!! Thanks for being here watching!!
hey there - relatively recent viewer (sent by loribostonfound) - i didn’t find anything in your free people stuff but my step daughter loved a black sweatshirt so we got that! Keep plugging along and things will fall back into place. Congrats on your progress and well wishes that you will be fully healed and done with both cancer and surgeries soon!
so good to see you feeling better. I think for this video you need to think of the Rolling Stones "time is on my side,.....yes it is" seems to be the theme. good luck!
Omg I’m so sorry to hear you have been going through all of this. I was balling watching this but all in love!! You sharing in this video i am grateful for and I know this will help a lot of people. I am a ft reseller and I’ve been looking for reliable sources to also withstand doing this full time. 😊
Oh! I just ordered a box from them too. It was a much smaller one though for like $250 and I got 19 pieces. Many are the same exact ones as yours. Many have TJ max tags on them. A pair of jeans was the best thing in there. It's mostly T-shirts and plain white thermals. That's great about the T-shirt selling because I was just thinking of keeping them instead of bothering listing. My issue is that these are shelf pulls and are still on sale and clearance at many big retail stores right now. So I've been wondering if I list now or just hang on to them until they are no longer available in retail stores. I also took photos and listed a few hoping maybe my photos might stand out? IDK. $250 wasn't that big of a risk for me, but I don't think I'd do it again.
I hear you. Healthcare is a hard enough profession. It’s demanding without all the increased empathy I earned over the year following my breast ca diagnosis. I admire your dedication to finding a balance that works for you. Prayers for total extinction of those nasty cancer cells.
I started on ebay, love it and I'm terrified to try Posh. Fear is all in a person's perspective and yet we give it so much power when it shouldn't have any.
I have bought 3 boxes from Fox Liquidation (1 intimates/sleep wear, 1 sport/athletic wear box, and 1 jeans/tops box). I also wish I had done a tiny bit more research before committing in. The cost of goods is HIGH, and I still do not have a total opinion on whether I will purchase again or not. I will say that the Free People products brought a lot of foot traffic to my closet, though not too much has sold. I've had my boxes for 3 months now, and I've sold 6 items out of my total 30ish items. The first top, I believe it was the Hydro top, that you showed sold like hot cakes for me. A lot of items are sitting, mainly because of the saturated market. I am confident that I will at least get my money back, but the amount of profit I will make is going to be low due to the competition. Again the traffic it brings to my closet is great, but the items themselves don't sell as well and the competition is fierce. I have better luck picking up my Free People pieces to flip from Nordstrom Rack when they do their clearance rounds, as the products they have are much less saturated and you can decide how many of each style and size you get. But totally to each their own and I'm curious to see what you're 60 and 90 day follow-up looks like 😊
Hi Hope! Wishing you speedy sales with this lot! I tried liquidation several years ago and it wasn't great for me, I think mostly because of the saturated market driving the prices down. I had a blast with it and was able to decide for myself how to move forward. I think it's a risk worth taking - just to know if this is something that works for our businesses. I am looking forward to your thrift hauls. It's so nice to see you looking so healthy - God is good!👍
Kelly-you have been such a bright light in my recovery …you are such a positive beautiful light in this community and I am so grateful to know you!!! I’m filming a bins haul movie just for YOU!!!
You can do it! I’m on a journey to become full time too. Times are definitely slow right now. We’ve just got to keep chugging along! You’re inspirational and you’ll definitely be successful! Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
Hi first time seeing your channel! Best of luck with your liquidation buy and to becoming a full-time reseller! I'm a reseller of vintage and enjoy watching reselling channels to get info about modern brands to look out for when I am sourcing in the thrift stores. One of the awesome perks on selling vintage clothing, it's very unlikely that the market will be oversaturated with the same exact items. Cheers!
Omg yay! Hiiiii thanks and welcome to the crazy!! So glad you stopped by! I hope u stay!! I LOVE vintage!!! I’m always on the lookout for special pieces at the thrift!!
OH MAN that cost of goods made something on my body pucker!!! I hope you can recoup your money somewhat quickly! I am excited for your thrift hauls for sure.
Good liquidation! I have been selling on ebay over 20 years but I like posh better now. Ebay sales tanked last year for me. Glad you are getting better!
You have to remember that it takes 60 to 90 days on average for an item to sell so the fact that you are listing like crazy this month. For example, next month in the month after that it’s gonna be kick ass.
I got this same box about 2 months ago, and yours is WAAAAAAAAY better than mine was. I got a few bigger pieces that I was able to sell really well. but the vast majority of my box was jeans and basic t shirts that just arent selling.
I was excited to see this up, love to seeing you back in the game. Love ya girly.I ditched poshmark. I have been ordering from fox alot but I look at the breakdown and now we have a physical store that helps get more out of the less desirable items. I also get the manifested ones and google items look into comps. I also sort by the lowest price points. Fox items will scan into ebay pretty easy is a pro tip.
Thanks for the informative video. I’ve always been curious about liquidation even though I don’t think it’s something I could do. I get overwhelmed easily with too many items to process. I used to be a nurse. I’ve been reselling for a few years but I’m gradually trying to phase out of it. My sales have been so slow and it seems buyers want things for less even though my COG keeps going up. I know you will do great with these items. Probably wouldn’t try to sell on WN though. I honestly don’t know how sellers on WN make any money. I wish you many sales and good health❤
Thank you Teresa for watching! I’ve done so well with these items selling between $50-70 on posh QUICKLY that I definitely won’t be selling this lot anywhere else!! All I can say is decline or counter the low offers and hold firm that your not running an auction🤣🤣🤣 I counter or decline anything below 40% …thanks for being here!!!
As I am watching and listening to your story… just wanted to send you a text with healing vibes! You are so cool, and gorgeous, and amazing! Love your channel! You’ll get through it, girl! Sending you a huge hug from AZ! And lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey Hope! love the video! You will have to do a follow up to let us know how you did. You have some really great pieces! And about eBay, when my firstborn was born, and I was home for six months, I started doing eBay..that was over 20 years ago. It’s really not that hard to learn. I mostly do Poshmark now, but for collectors pieces, I still do eBay. Once you get the hang of it, it’s definitely worth it.! 💛
Good to see you. You look great. So happy you’re doing well! I just wanted to say I use a bot to share and it makes a huge diff if you haven’t yet started. ❤
Glad you’re doing well Hope! ❤ Praying your reselling full time works great for you and your growth on RUclips skyrockets too 🙏 Love your light up sign your husband made you!
Love you… hilarious…..it looks like you have been selling these items pretty well since I’m seeing this a few weeks later. I hear you…I have done much better picking things myself for a low COG …but it take 5 hours to find a huge haul to list….I hope you find a way to make reselling your main income…I am keeping my day job and I look forward to the day I retire in like 5 years….I really want to see if I did this full time could I make a regular income….I think about it every day…glad you are doing well ♥️
You are so brave for trying liquidation! I have tried a threadup box (not liquidation but the closest thing) and it was hard to list the things I didn’t feel like listing… which is a majority of the box. I definitely like thrifting way better! That is great that you were able to list all those so quickly! You are looking great! I need your husband to make me as sign, he did an amazing job! Tell the kitty and the piggies and all the other animals I said hi!
Go with EBay Hope. It is not terribly hard when you get your first few listed and shipped. The eBay audience is huge compared to poshmark. Best of luck funny lady. Your videos are the best. You make me laugh hard every single video (well not the cancer video). Have a beautiful night
I just heard someone on RUclips today saying that we can get kicked off Poshmark for using stock photos! Do you know anything about that? I know tons of resellers do it, including myself! I wish you a healthy year!
I buy small boxes ($200-$250) and my cost of goods on Movement was $12 per piece on regular clothing $19. I just got an intimates box and it is jam full not sure of cost per item yet. Everything you said is true! I also am a breast cancer survivor, hang in there honey!
I'm the same exact way with ebay. I don't know why but I like the way poshmarks listing process is so much more than eBay and I wish I could get eBay customers with poshmark listing lol. Everytime I do list for a few days in a day I get sales over there but then I slack again and there go all the sales. Poshmark has been ridiculously slow though, even with constant daily listing.
I’m glad I’m not the only one with the posh brain…eBay has so many requirements in listings I’m like ooohh this is too much work and get sidetracked 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Any cancer is awful but breast cancer is harder on a woman’s psychological standpoint more than most. I went in January for my first 6 month time span from colon cancer and they found spots on lungs and cancer markers were up 100 points and we redid blood work 2 weeks later and it was up another 30 points. So I had lung biopsy Tuesday and first chemo yesterday. I will go every 3 weeks until it’s no longer feasible or I say ‘I am done’. At 75, I am okay with everything. I did get a flannel top from you on Poshmark
Don’t be afraid of eBay… its’s a good place. I do both, but eBay is def the better of the two for me. Give it a try. Cross list a few things to see how you like it. Good luck!
I did a similar purchase a few years ago from Fox and had a similar experience. I got like 10 sheer bodysuits all in size small and the same color - LOL. Those are not quick sellers needless to say. The quality is great but the variety - not so much.
Boy that is a high COG for a market that is oversaturated. Liquidation seems scary to me. No matter what at least you can say you tried it. Good luck, Hope! p.s. Love the background, with your business name up in lights.
Quick answer is it’s a wholesale license required for pallet purchases to resell and I believe it excludes you from paying sales tax on clothing-I don’t know all the ins/outs bc it varies by state-but once I do more research I’ll make a video explaining 💕💕💕
I wish you the best! You sweet girl can do this full time no problem. Your hauls are amazing. I wanted that Tori Burch bag you had, I went to purchase it and it was gone. I have no doubt you will do just fine. I LOVE THE SIGN!!
Have you tried a crosslisting service? Maybe that would make it easier? Ebay has a much bigger audience I feel. I started on Ebay in 2000 so PM was hard for me to get. :D I love how easy it is to crosslist on Posh and that there are no returns for fit but my sales there aren't what they are on Ebay unfortunately. Wish I could have mostly Posh sales. I've got two returns coming on Ebay for over $100! :( You can do no returns, but I think buyers will just say an item is not as described to get the return. The main way I've found to get consistent sales is to list at least 3 or 4 things a day. I also end and sell similar every item after 30 days of it being listed. So I'll always have at least that activity daily if I don't get to list that day. I hope your FP items sell quickly for good money and your sales pick up! :)
Yes I’ve just started with vendoo! I’ve been crosslisting 5-10 a day for almost a week…nothing yet but it’s not been too difficult! I’ll get there…baby steps😆😆
@@NurseSaysNAH You'll get there. 🙂 I've never tried a crosslisting service since I go from eBay to posh which is super easy, but I've heard resellers say how great they are. 👍👍
Just remember, manifests can be and are wrong. Make sure to research policies for refunds and returns when buying liquidation from these companies. It can be a huge gamble.
You’re so funny! No you do make me laugh. Great attitude. Serious stuff. I’m a nurse too. Used to work per diem and made bank on the west coast. Moved to NC! Ugh… that pay sucks. I’m part time currently and part time reselling. You are doing so awesome
Don’t go back any time soon! Give yourself time. Commit to the cross posting. I can’t do bedside anymore because I have Lyme. I work on a hotline. Ugh. I call it nursing 2.0

The tshirts are selling well! Mine had tj maxx tags on a couple styles I just clipped those off and left the FP tags!
Congrats on surviving cancer! Wishing you well and all the best!

Posh is a lot easier than Ebay. Don't be scared! I left Ebay after 6 years. Too much stress there for me. Been on Posh for 4 years and I love it.

Go with EBay Hope. It is not terribly hard when you get your first few listed and shipped. The eBay audience is huge compared to poshmark. Best of luck funny lady. Your videos are the best. You make me laugh hard every single video (well not the cancer video). Have a beautiful night
I’m working on it!!! I promise!!! And I’m so glad to make you laugh💕💕💕💕
Great video!! I think you’re going to do ok with this stuff. It’s all pretty desirable in my opinion
Thanks friends!! I am doing great so far!! It’s moving!!! Woohooo
You are so frickin awesome. Do what comes with less stress your health is first.
Thank you 💕💕💕💕💕
I just heard someone on RUclips today saying that we can get kicked off Poshmark for using stock photos! Do you know anything about that? I know tons of resellers do it, including myself! I wish you a healthy year!
I have always used them 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I hope I don’t get kicked off🤣🤣😭😭😭
I buy small boxes ($200-$250) and my cost of goods on Movement was $12 per piece on regular clothing $19. I just got an intimates box and it is jam full not sure of cost per item yet. Everything you said is true! I also am a breast cancer survivor, hang in there honey!
💕💕pink sisters!!! I hope you do well with your intimates!!
Hope...you look AMAZING!!!
Thank you!!awe!
Oh bless your heart ❤️ I will pray for strength during your chemo and that it goes away!!! Thank you for shopping from my closet!!! 💕💕💕💕
Yea, I'm glad i didn't film me opening them up hahaha bc i just kept saying another one, oh another one, oh its the same....LOL
I got a small Free People bundle from Fox back in September. $190 for 11 NWT items. I’ve sold one thing…😭
Oh no 🙈
Boy that is a high COG for a market that is oversaturated. Liquidation seems scary to me.
No matter what at least you can say you tried it. Good luck, Hope!
p.s. Love the background, with your business name up in lights.
I know it is scary to me too🤣 that’s why I wanted to share a real breakdown😳 and thank you 😊 😘
Can you explain exactly what a reseller certificate is?? and how you get it and the pros of having it.
Quick answer is it’s a wholesale license required for pallet purchases to resell and I believe it excludes you from paying sales tax on clothing-I don’t know all the ins/outs bc it varies by state-but once I do more research I’ll make a video explaining 💕💕💕
I hope you give us an update soon!
It’s doing GREAT! Video coming soon! I’m doing a 30 days later Video!
I wish you the best! You sweet girl can do this full time no problem. Your hauls are amazing. I wanted that Tori Burch bag you had, I went to purchase it and it was gone. I have no doubt you will do just fine. I LOVE THE SIGN!!
Thank you Terri 💕💕😘😘😘
Where is your Poshmark link if we want to buy from you?
It’s in my link tree in description!!
What is free people?
I do 3 times more on Ebay then Poshmark
P.S. Love the sign!!!
Yes I’ve just started with vendoo! I’ve been crosslisting 5-10 a day for almost a week…nothing yet but it’s not been too difficult! I’ll get there…baby steps😆😆
@@NurseSaysNAH - You got this. Kinda surprised you chose vendoo, over depop. Do they also have a young(er) demographic?
I’m using vendoo as a cross listing service, not a selling site❤️
@@NurseSaysNAH You'll get there. 🙂 I've never tried a crosslisting service since I go from eBay to posh which is super easy, but I've heard resellers say how great they are. 👍👍
what is your PM & ebay closet names?
If you click the linktree link in my description it will take you to my closet❤️❤️❤️
Not sure you’re trying to be funny, but the sound effect is just very funny to me
I’m always trying to be funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Praying for you.
Thank you 🙏🏻❤️
Just remember, manifests can be and are wrong. Make sure to research policies for refunds and returns when buying liquidation from these companies. It can be a huge gamble.
I sell on eBay only. I like it!
So very happy for you you deserve great success. I do Ebay so if you want to pick my brain I am here for it.
Also I still have your flannel hahaha
I’m in loooove w the puffer but it’s not my size 😢
It’s everyone’s size🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 giant 🤣🤣🤣
@@NurseSaysNAH lol I’m thinking about it 😂
Im gonna be honest with you, ebay is better than PM. You will have double the sales.
❤❤❤
Love u pumpkin
@@NurseSaysNAH you too. I hope you are doing well. The cost of good gave me anxiety and I didn’t even buy it 😂🤣
My personal thoughts is that liquidation is always risky. Been there fine that last my shirt.
Sorry.... Lost my shirt. Lol.
I looked into fox liquidation for free people but decided not to do it just because there is so much listed!
I should’ve done that🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ But the mystery of “maybe I’ll get different stuff” enticed me🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the breakdown. What a risk. Can you please film a 60 or 90 day update? Best of luck! You got some terrific items.
I definitely will!!!
Thank you for sharing, not getting a liquidation box, thanks again.
North Texas is full of really cheap resale places loaded with Free People. Some pieces NWT for as low as $4 at times.
You’re so funny! No you do make me laugh. Great attitude. Serious stuff. I’m a nurse too. Used to work per diem and made bank on the west coast. Moved to NC! Ugh… that pay sucks. I’m part time currently and part time reselling. You are doing so awesome
Awe thank you!! I am definitely going to ease back in and keep on cross-listing!!!
Don’t go back any time soon! Give yourself time. Commit to the cross posting. I can’t do bedside anymore because I have Lyme. I work on a hotline. Ugh. I call it nursing 2.0
