Exquisite creation. The amount of work, knowledge and craftsmanship creating such a unique piece. The man-hours alone, make this beyond the reach of most of us.
A superb achievement, and a wonderful video too.

You had already mentioned it in a previous video, but using the vacuum clamps was a nifty idea!

The wood and resin bench top that you made is absolutely stunning. 👍🏽
I'm not keen on how the customers wanted it fitted though. 🤔

Random beautifully crafted slab plonked overboard obscuring access to cupboards. Impractical and sketchy if vaguely artistic. Personally I like a roadworthy kitchen. ☮️

Beautiful work as always, nice to see the final fitting, I am sure things will look a whole lot different when the entire design concept comes together 👍👍👍

Your router sled is fantastic! Have you thought about adding indents, like those found on the LR32 sled, to the router tray so that you take the guess work out of aligning the cutter from pass to pass?

No comment on the customer’s choice, except for the choice of a superb craftsman. Well done. I wish some mechanical fastening was possible or some support of the lip. Time will tell if adhesives are enough, or if lip support (like a FastCap anchor) or drilling up from the bottom would be good.

Interesting and different. Thanks for the video. Is there any sealant around the edge of the timber so spills of whatever do not get between the timber top and the stone benchtop? Cheers, David

I haven’t used any sealant , but I have used D4 near edge there was a very small squeeze out so should be ok

Nice. Not sure about the final fitting. Looks abit weird just sat on top. Think it would have looked better level and not just sat on top. Customer has a strange taste , probably would gave spent a bit more with the granite company to cut around the timber shape, and have everything flush .

All very well telling people how to do this in their own homes but not everyone has thousands of pounds worth of machinery to do this kind of work and those machines there are around a couple of thousand pounds each i would think!
