gosh, i feel like i've met my artistic twin 💕this piece speaks to me on so many levels, Gabrielle Anna. the colors and the composition are pulling at my soul in a most wonderful way. not only is it gorgeous and well executed but i was almost able to anticipate your next move throughout the process. it was an incredible experience and i thank you so very much for your kind comments about my videos. wishing you "bonne continuité" in all your future projects. 🎨😊
Cee Cee, this message means so much to me!!❤️💕❤️ I know how busy you are and I so appreciate you making the time to not only watch my video, but also to connect with me with your kind words ❤️ I feel so blessed to have found you on RUclips and you really are a gem a teacher, a wonderful artist and an all around beautiful soul ❤️ I hope you know just how many lives you have touched with your art and wisdom. @@gabrielleannacormierart thank you for the kind words! it's always amazing to me to hear that the videos i make are inspiring. Art is amazing and i love to see how it brings joy to others. wishing you a lovely weekend!
❤️💕❤️ You’re so welcome! I’m visiting my family in New Brunswick and it feels good to be in the Maritimes again. I hope you have a lovely weekend as well. ☺️
This was fun to watch. I like the one from today best, although I can't say exactly why. I paused it to view they side by side for a while and can't really put my finger on it. Nice of you to acknowledge CeeCee too! She's been a huge inspiration on my watercolor journey, as well.
Thank you for watching and for making the time to connect, Jenene ☺️ I looked at them both today and still feel more drawn to the one from this week, but I had a moment of “I really like this one too!” when I looked at the first one again. It’s fun to see how art can speak to us in different ways. And it’s fun to connect with other artists who have been touched by Cee Cee’s work. She is amazing! ❤️
Thank you so much Gabrielle, you are a total inspiration to me. I am in total agreement with you about Ceecee, the first time I found her, she totally blew me away. BTW, you are an excellent teacher also.❤
Oh my GOODNESS!!! I have been finding objects in everything I look at as well! I thought I was weird and a bit crazy to see something like a monkey in the stone floor tiles! 😂😂
Nope! Not weird or crazy, we are both just very imaginative 😁😉 I’ve been doing that since I was a child and I love it ❤️ In my end of year review, there’s a beach picture where I see an image of my little dog Copin in the clouds 🥰 (he’s no longer with us so that picture is very meaningful to me.) Thanks for connecting, Cathy 🤗
Beautiful 👍🙂❤️ Definitely the one you created today, on the left. It makes me feel where i live. The one on the right makes me think of the fires that recently ripped through Jasper. I've heard you say, use whatever paints you have. Good advice, however have you added that results will very, because artist quality paint is different than paint from Walmart for example...
Thank you again ☺️❤️ A friend of ours recently drove up to Jasper and he mentioned that it was very sad to see all the damage done by the fires. 😔 Damien and I drove Icefields parkway 7 years ago, and what a beautiful journey it was! I love that region of Canada. 💕 Yes, when people ask me why they are having a hard time achieving similar results to the ones I'm getting, paint and paper quality always gets a mention. 😉 It can indeed make a huge difference, especially when someone is starting to feel more comfortable with their supplies. Student grade paints and papers are great for playing and experimenting, but they start to lose their appeal quickly because they do have their limits. Thanks for bringing this up! It's a nice reminder for all of us. ☺️
The one from today had such a mellow transparent airy vibe. It reminds me of a very old Japanese piece. The gold is subtle and extravagant at the same time. There’s great balance with all the elements.
Thank you so much, Selah ☺️ I enjoyed reading your perspective on the painting ❤️ I see what you mean about the mellow transparent airy vibe and I think that’s also one of the reasons it speaks to me more than the first one I painted. ☺️
Oh Gabrielle .. what a beautiful piece this is! This is my first time seeing you, so I'm very much looking forward to diving into your channel. I'm delighted to have found you! Im an artist based in the UK & this style of watercolour creation is soul food to me. My heart smiled to see your interaction with CeeCee in the comments too 😊 .. what a lovely moment. The first time I saw a thumbnail come up with your video, I thought it was CeeCee's artwork, you are both amazingly creative and talented! I think today's painting is my favorite; it was really cool watching both paintings come to life! 😍

I think I prefer the one from today - although I like both. I have to say that I too was inspired by CeeCee for this technique and then I found you. As a 'newby' to watercolour painting I am so enjoying this creative technique that I think I will practice it some more. I'm coming off a photography background where everything seems to be more acceptable if it is 'sharp'. This frustrated me so much that I began using alternative lenses to create blurry backgrounds etc and still enjoy this style of photography. I feel as if I might have found my happy place with photography and painting. Thank you so much for your most informative videos.
Thank you for watching Julie ☺️ Cee Cee has inspired so many of us for many years and it is truly a gift ❤️ I’m glad to see your creative soul is finding ways to express all the beauty that lives in you too , Julie. Happy creating 🎨❤️

I recently found your channel and am really enjoying your work and style. Thank you for sharing your process (and the goooold!) What kind of ink do you use in your fountain pen? I use Platinum Carbon but find that it feathers and spreads over the dried watercolour.
Hi Jay ☺️ Thank you so much for your kind words! And yes, isn’t that gold awesome?! 🤩 I use PILOT Namiki IC100 Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges. I find that the ink does generally well, especially on paper that was previously painted with watercolour (and then dried before I start applying my ink marks). On bare paper though, depending on the quality of the paper, sometimes I find it feathers as well. Posca don’t tend to feather, but using them over the rough texture of watercolour paper can wreak havoc on their felt tips. I hope this helps! If you ever come across another type of ink that doesn’t ever feather, please don’t hesitate to share. ☺️
I like this painting very much. I was wondering, is it feasible to do this on canvas with acrylics using a fair amount of water in order to create that soft look??
Hi Chris ☺️ Thank you for watching! You know, I’m not sure. I have not tried it myself but I do know of some artist who do use acrylics like watercolors so it may very well be possible 😊 It’s always fun to experiment and I say give it a try! And when you do, please let me know how it works out.
What is the name of the gold paint you are using?I went on creationsceecee but couldn’t find the paint? Please let me know if you can. I love your paintings, thanks for sharing❤️
