"because DB is actually underwhelming compared to DS... " Do you mean DS > DB or DS < DB? Sorry for the bad English >< Also can I have your thoughts on Ph vs. Et?
DS and Wand are much better than DB in almost everything, the only reason i didn't use Wand instead of DB for this is due to the weapon's limited ability to cancel your attacks for WA (Guarding).
@@nblade3890 Good thing I made my DS liberate instead of DB. I liked DS play style more too but I see many people playing DB so that's why I asked. Thanks! I also affixed my 15* orb wand for utils and semi damage :D
As for Phantom vs Etoile, i'd say which class have their own good points, for example: Phantom: + Have great safety and easy to use (Rod with tech stealth charge and tech short charge) - Mainly carried by 1 weapon (Rod) - Poor PP Management if not going against a boss that let you counter often, applies especially hard for Katana - Poor Step I-frame Etoile: + All weapons are balanced in their own way + Almost impossible to get killed because of Damage Balancer + Great PP Management, especially with Overdrive + The class power is not heavily reliant on countering like Hero and Phantom does - DB is more on the safety side so its power is low comparing to the other 2 - Wand is kinda clunky at the moment but they said they will fix it soon
@@nblade3890 I do enjoy playing wand on Et because of the aoe for mobbing. But when it gets into a hardcore 1v1 I'd rather have DS cuz it's gonna be close range and even more defense. To what you say about Ph, I never used rod and my main weap on Ph is rifle. I used play katana but then I realize how convenient rifle is so I decided to use rifle. How is the damage compare to rod? Is it really that bad?
@@bensonwu9307 Yeah, Rifle has been really underwhelming ever since release and the UH changes to headshot multiplier didn't help either, if you look up most speedruns using Ph you will see they use Rod most of the time, Rifle is like that 1 weapon they only touch if they're forced to :^) Katana bossing can keep up with Rod though, but that's assuming you're under ideal conditions for PP management (negating the issue with gears work too)
