Great update. 'Ask a busy person to do something and it will get done' even if they 'don't have time to scratch themselves' as the sayings go. Never boring Dirt Perfect.
There is an old aying ," fancy paint and chrome can't get you home " , meaning the mechanicals are your priority . Maybe as a winter time project when the other necessary repairs and wish list items are done .
I agree 100% on painting Bubba Dump, I drive a 2007 K104 with lots of stone chips on the cab front. It'd be nice to give it a shiny new coat, but the boss and I are both more interested in keeping the old bag running perfect than looking pretty... She does get a wash regularly... That'll have to do till the Star gets back on the road and the 104 can have a rest.... Looking forward to seeing more vids with all the new gear operating...
I have a shop/office suggestion to help the congestion on the shelves in your office. Take your hat collection and move it to the wall in your little entry room. It's kind of a boring little walk of a go between when entering or exiting the shop and every time you film going thru there, some hat will get air time. Just a thought. You would have to use something other than hooks to prevent nabbing somebody as they pass thru but that's do-able. Enjoying the videos. Thanks.
210 will be interesting to watch work with your dump and dozers.Should up your productivity greatly on certain jobs.Really enjoy these converstaions you hold.Have an idea for one.Goodson Logging.Wades family and Cottontop.Logging is very important and difficult for many to understand.Am sure those three together can shed positive light on that profession and explain why its so darn hard to make it ..Like farmer Chris and others you have hosted we all learn greatly from them. And you do so in a way we really enjoy. My best to your family and crew. This summer season will be a great one for all.
I agree paint does not pull the plow. But the two advantages I see are it will give you a more profession look for your clients. Plus with your RUclips Chanel it will give your followers good content and with income generated it will help off set cost. Totally agree mechanics and durability are a must first. Cheers for the good content and looking forward to future projects
Absolute sense, make sure the machine is sound before trying to make it look good. I'm not even sure it's worth the effort on good equipment, as long as it does the job, who cares how pretty it is? Sorry I missed this live.
I live about 2 and a half hours east of Buffalo my wife and I have visited Uss the Sullivans a couple of times coming from a military family what happened to that ship is truly sad. Per the Buffalo and Erie county naval parks RUclips and social media pages As of yesterday (Sunday 4/24) the contractor began test pumping out river water to formulate a plan to pump the water out evenly so that not to put any additional unnecessary stress on the hull
I saw that some one sent you a book with check lists in it. I have a my Private Pilots license and I was thinking the same thing watching you jump in and out of different machines. When jumping in and out of different models of airplanes it is really important to look a the specific check list for each Airplane. I know that these are not airplanes but they are just a complicated as small airplanes if not more in some cases. I think it would be a great idea to have a check list for your pre start inspection, normal operation and shut down procedures. Even though you know how to do it all it is easy to forget something at times. Usually it is just a few laminated cards on a small ring and hits the most important things for each. I don't know just a thought.
Oooo, a NEW Hyandai 210... For that I bet you'd give up the JD 120 if you could keep only 2... Cool, Bubba Dump is getting the most important part... the Pepsi holder (I love Pepsi too)... I can understand your function over form attitude... 1. You're not Chris who is a bit OCD about how his stuff looks (I notice he keeps his stuff clean and pretty.. the company stuff... well... ) 2. Paint don't make it work better, just prettier... I bet this time of year you love having the 850J... being able to close the door and have heat on this cold spring mornings is probably a huge plus.. but by summer, You guys don't need the AC like we do here in Phoenix (upwards of 120 degrees.). LD18 loves his tilt bucket too for the same reasons... and he curses when he's working for his uncle and can't use it... The sullivans is in Buffalo (My Hometown.. been on it a few times) ... I say if you really wanted Bubba Dump painted... you could ask Jenna and Macy to help out with that... but it might come out in hot pink... or even some other strange colors just as a punishment.. Sad to have missed this live.. but you're 3 hours ahead of me.
Aaah off course !! JD dozers are hydraulic drive, they dont brake or disconnect a track to steer, so you dont have the problem of loosing 50% of traction as soon as you correct the steering..
Screw the paint. Usability is what it is all about. Painting cost money and time also costs money. I am all for using the machine to make money and that is what floats the boat. Period!
Gutted i missed this Live, Mike.. but with me being in the uk.. i couldnt make the timezone difference work for me and sleep won out. Some awesome q&a there and some interesting videos to come! Thanks as always for sharing
Actually the U.S.S. Sullivan a is in Buffalo New York at the Naval Park. It’s where I am from. The county and state are doing their best to get it back up and floating. Limited budget is what led to sinking unfortunately.
All of them need a broom 🤣. I was watching yesterday's video of Bubba Dump and couldn't believe the floor in the excavator. When you jumped in to it to jump it... let's just say I was expecting an avalanche. 😆 😂 😆
To all you guys that have to have a spotless vehicle of spotless excavator listen Mike isn't Chris okay he doesn't really care about that and it's not a big deal that he doesn't care about it. Leave him alone about the dirt on the floor is it a really that big of a deal, I mean is it affecting you personally who cares if there's dirt on the floor if the windows are dirty,. It's his equipment let him take care of it the way he wants to take care of it
Request for "A Few Points From Perfect" up the volume a little bit. I load up my DOSS Soundbox once a week with podcasts and your volume is only about 20% as loud as all of the others. These are my overnight listening while in bed and I constantly think something is wrong with it when your podcast is playing only to up the volume, then it moves to the next file and wakes everyone up in the house. LOL just a suggestion, thanks
Looks don't get the job done but impresses the customers. When its not being used take off the hood take to a body shop have them paint it up with you logo on top and Bubba Dump on the side. Those back wheel cylinders leaking could be going on the breaks and causing break problems. Need fixed 1st be for anything it might be someone's life. Did I miss a video on the rear breaks
Always awesome videos dp can’t wait for the new videos I had to make a new RUclips account I had my phone stolen n all my passwords was n it so here we r lol have a great work week n y’all stay safe
Bubba dump brilliant name it doesn't need paint it's needs the lockers fixing and brakes it was painful to watch your last vid as Volvo adt's usually just plough through if it's boggy just lower the pressure in the tyres
Paint don't make it go quicker! I use to drag race and on purpose left the car in primer and about 4 different colors. People would always rag on me to piant it ,I would always say piant dont make it go quicker and that car use to leave on the the rear bumper !
Hey Dp maybe do the hood and certain panels that are bad maybe Matt black like a Case I said about the exhaust was for the noise because your wearing head phones
I believe you have four or five dump trucks (inc. Lt Dan) and each has their pros and cons for various situations (the right tool for the job). I'm guessing if Lt Dan was operating you would still use Bubba Dump for that dirt road job (even with the lockers not working). ;-)
I get how everyone here is all about working more than looks but you need to think about it like this. Would you rather hire the homeless looking guy for a job, or the guy that dresses nice? When you look sloppy people tend to think you do sloppy work. If he doesn't even put a little bit of effort into his looks how much will he put into his work? Fully understand that is never always true but not everyone thinks this way, and they want the guy that puts at least a little bit of effort into cleaning and maintaining their equipment to do the job. Make it work make it look decent and get more jobs so in a way Cosmetics do bring in more money. I like Dirt Perfect but it has always irked me the way he never cleans his equipment at all and it has actually bit him in the butt with the Kobota. Not cleaning it and got that dirt packed into the area behind the arm and broke a hose.
Easy the guy that is best quailed for the job don’t care where he lives or what he wears seen man if nice dressed guys rip a lot of honest people off 🤷♂️
I agree when you're ready. Your custom exhaust and green paint on Bubba Dump.
Great update. 'Ask a busy person to do something and it will get done' even if they 'don't have time to scratch themselves' as the sayings go. Never boring Dirt Perfect.

Cosmetics don’t pay the bills!! Love your channel, keep posting videos!
Absolute sense, make sure the machine is sound before trying to make it look good. I'm not even sure it's worth the effort on good equipment, as long as it does the job, who cares how pretty it is? Sorry I missed this live.
Re bubba dump, I would make the grill a higher priority after mechanical items, it adds another level protection to the motor/radiator.
Thank you, looking forward to both of the two pieces of equipment in your vedios ❤️

Sounds like you got a lot of new equipment coming can't wait hope you get time for lt Dan this winter
Aaah off course !! JD dozers are hydraulic drive, they dont brake or disconnect a track to steer, so you dont have the problem of loosing 50% of traction as soon as you correct the steering..
Thanks love your and captain RUclips channel
MBTS is going to need a booster seat and a ladder to drive Bubba Dump. Lol God bless
Absolutely right, you never put lipstick on a pig. I hope that truck works well for you.
Screw the paint. Usability is what it is all about. Painting cost money and time also costs money. I am all for using the machine to make money and that is what floats the boat. Period!
My guess. The Hyundai is getting a sleeper cab for MBTS. There is room.
Man lift so he can get in
Gutted i missed this Live, Mike.. but with me being in the uk.. i couldnt make the timezone difference work for me and sleep won out. Some awesome q&a there and some interesting videos to come! Thanks as always for sharing

You're so right cosmetics does not do the job, A functioning machine is the one that does the job
What is better than a pepsi holder ? 2 pepsi holders 🏴🤪🤪🤣🤣🤣
Hi Mike don't waste time painting that truck . Just fix the grille if it is needed to protect the truck !
Thanks for sharing this with us take care
All of them need a broom 🤣. I was watching yesterday's video of Bubba Dump and couldn't believe the floor in the excavator. When you jumped in to it to jump it... let's just say I was expecting an avalanche. 😆 😂 😆
As for the 850b vs J I’m sure it’s nice to keep a “big” non permit move machine around
Yup
Mike did you buy the Volvo drain hose yet? For the oil changes. Lol God bless
Love the name of the truck. Bubba dump
DP how many times did you get the 850J stuck? Lol God bless
Me none
Its money well spent ,to make money with - good call !
You’re right DP get Bubba mechanically sound then put the maker him pretty.
#SAVEBUBBADUMP
Letsdig18 didn't paint his haul truck until he had fixed all the problems on it. So it makes sense that DP will fix his before any cosmetic work
Safety first
210+tiltrotator…then they’re all tilt buckets!
To all you guys that have to have a spotless vehicle of spotless excavator listen Mike isn't Chris okay he doesn't really care about that and it's not a big deal that he doesn't care about it. Have you thought about a third door to be able to get equipment in for the larger devices with straight in and out access.
No
The only reason I see you getting the grill fixed is just for protection.
So no Chrome Rims for Bubba Dump :( (until it's mechanical sound :P)
Always awesome videos dp can’t wait for the new videos I had to make a new RUclips account I had my phone stolen n all my passwords was n it so here we r lol have a great work week n y’all stay safe
Paint doesn't make much sense if you have brakes on 4 wheels and drive on 3.
People need to understand .... There is no benefit to pinstripes and spinning rims if the equipment isn't working perfectly and reliably
Bubba dump brilliant name it doesn't need paint it's needs the lockers fixing and brakes it was painful to watch your last vid as Volvo adt's usually just plough through if it's boggy just lower the pressure in the tyres
The name fits really well ! Bubba dump.
Like your video Mike .
I always miss these live streams. Do you have a set time on Sunday's I can generally be attentive for? Thanks sir!
Hey Mike, Hello from from Florida.
Needed Logger Wade to come over to help out on Bubba Dump….lol
Paint don't make it go quicker! I use to drag race and on purpose left the car in primer and about 4 different colors. People would always rag on me to piant it ,I would always say piant dont make it go quicker and that car use to leave on the the rear bumper !
I'm sorry I missed your live tonight
I only stopped to say did you consider looking at that 250 Deere excavator c&c equipment has with the sand bucket on it you would look good up in it.
No for several reasons thanks

The Broom?? Glue it to your glove!! Then you can use it on all your equipment!! 😂😂😂
Needs to go in whatever piece of equipment DP is operating, but, you're right, that way he won't "lose" it.
Necklace even
210 getting a self cleaning floor and a recycling machine for those cans
Hey Dp maybe do the hood and certain panels that are bad maybe Matt black like a Case I said about the exhaust was for the noise because your wearing head phones
Shood be green ! ! ! !
What's the bed capacity of Lt Dan versus Bubba Dump?

I believe you have four or five dump trucks (inc. Lt Dan) and each has their pros and cons for various situations (the right tool for the job).
I'm guessing if Lt Dan was operating you would still use Bubba Dump for that dirt road job (even with the lockers not working). ;-)
