It is nice to see in his winter years that Trevor Horn has the confidence and ability to go back and sing on stage. He was put in a very difficult and stressful situation in 1980 when he was appointed the replacement to Jon Anderson as lead singer for Yes. The hostile response he received from spectators at concerts in Britain were enough to drive him away from the microphone for the producers booth.
I went looking for this video after I bought Trevor Horns album "Trevor Horn Reimagines the Eighties" on itunes. The recording on the album is simply stunning and the arrangement a stroke of genius. Sadly, this performance does not do that recording justice (which, one must admit, is often the case with live performances). Kareoke style vocals and a 1st violinist who sounds like a squeaky door are but a few of the problems with this performance.

Trevor is a genius but seriously how can he confuse Norway with Sweden when working hours on a-ha's song....bad.
