Run both if u have the amps to run them. If u do get a rigid I would recommend doing it above he window I felt like it improved the lighting distance. And mounting one on the front of your rv is great option when loading the truck at night if u have on board battery's.
It would be nice to see a night time video using your fence for us to compare. Other than that, if you drive a lot at night in remote places, probably wouldn't hurt to have both.
I have my light bars connected behind the grill which protects them when I go 4x4. This way if a sapling snaps back it does not damage them. if your not going to do any 4x4 then they are fine in the front. I say the more the light the better. I also have light out the back of the truck too.
I would run just one light bar that has the "cross beam" feature, I would think if you start adding a lot of light bars you might start reducing the air flow into the motor.
the dual lights look really nice on that ranch hand bumper and I would have both for the features each has. I like the night time 5th LED of the auxbeam and I like the flood on either side of the other I personally think keep both there wired up already they look awesome and both have great features and that being said it is a good reason to keep both on your truck, awesome video!
Where did you get the mounts for the light bars. And what are they called? I have the same ranch hand and have been thinking of how to mount them the way you have.
What are the differences between an F-350 dually and an F-450? They seem to be identical trucks, other than the payload, which I found to be higher on the F-350 according to the Build and Price section on Ford's website. Was this a mistake or does the F-350 dually with a crew can really have 5,800 lbs of payload compared to 5,300 lbs on the F-450?
It sounds like you really like the Ox beam light bar, but its not a bad idea to keep a few auxiliary beams for just in case. You also are vary uniquely positioned to be able to test more light bars for the sake of asking, what is this, and is it good? As such, I feel like you should get all the light bars and do a lights bar shoot out. Just test as many light bars as you truck can handle for a few days and show us all the results.. If you like a particular light bar hold onto to it till the end of the shootout and show us the winner or winners last.
If you put both lights on or even just one in front of the grill, air flow to the radiator will be affected; in addition to the bumper that is already doing it. I am not an expert in this matter, but I am pretty sure less air flow may cause the engine to be more prone to over heating.
I like the top one Better. More features and seems brighter. Although if it were alone it would look a little odd because I like the length of the bottom one and how it fills the bumper more. Overall I actually like the look of both of them on there together. But if you were going to scrap one I would say the bottom.
I've watched several of your videos, but must've missed your name? Also-see if you can get your hands on a new Raptor and test it. I'd love to hear your insight on it-top down and bottom up. You're very thorough and you'll have a big channel soon. Keep up the good work.
So I'm considering either the legend full bumper grill guard setup or the legend bumper bullnose my question is did you notice any weight difference up front did you have to change anything I have a F350 6.7 2015 that has a 2.5 leveling kit I'm just concerned even though it is not much more weigh the weight of the heavy or bumper thank you need to know as soon as possible because I need to choose really soon thank you
This is the key for me also. It really doesn't matter what they look like in the daytime, looking at them. You need to try them both in the dark (separately) and see which amount of light and the coverage does what you want.
You mentioned fog several times, your fog lights need to be as low as possible (imo) having a couple of small , yellow , L.E.D lights under your bumper would be the best for fog ..I bet Texas fog when you get it is big , thick and bad.
There is this thing called the sun and you can't really see a lights performance in the sun. Could you make a video of these products in the dark? Please?
Alejandro Zuniga: I use them on dark county roads and when heading to the ranch. come in very handy. I NEVER run them towards traffic or during the day.
I would like for you to run all of your lights in the "on" position (better have a more-than-stock battery-array), both during a bright day and at night, plus your usual DRL and regular night-time illumination, and drive BEHIND a "rookie" working patrol officers' vehicle. Then, please report back to us on the consequences of your "pretty" lights. Also, please, truthfully report back to us if your truck was impounded, and/or police-confiscated by the Texas Department of Public Safety, as an "unsafe and dangerous vehicle", using a TEXAS public roadway. I mean, I like your brush guards very much. They are both very massive and functional. I like your light-bars too, IF, you drive with them "off" during the night, coming or going, but especially just right behind me. Now, if you are driving around inside a/your private property (ranch), well, that is another issue you don't require adherence to the Law. If, however, you are in someone else's private property, you might need to secure their consent for use of such illumination. In TEXAS, on public lands (highways) and at night, you probably will have to talk to the police officer that just stopped you. And, please don't forget, the "less than eighteen inches (18"), more than fifty-five inches (55") forward-lights' usage-rule. I like your light bars, I really do. They look where much thought has been considered for its manufacture. And, they also look very impressive. Both your brushguards and the light-bars installed together, well that is quite an install. However, at night ... well, you can't legally use the light-bars unless used inside a private ranch, as described above. During the day, well, does their combined need outweigh their overall cost? I have to faithfully agree, both products, pressed into service together, whether used or not, do add a very majestic and impressive look to an otherwise "bland and naked" front-end of a truck and/or SUV.
Run both if u have the amps to run them. If u do get a rigid I would recommend doing it above he window I felt like it improved the lighting distance. And mounting one on the front of your rv is great option when loading the truck at night if u have on board battery's.
If you use it mostly for driving with, then the one with the day-running light makes most sense to me. It's the one I'd keep over the other one.
It would be nice to see a night time video using your fence for us to compare. Other than that, if you drive a lot at night in remote places, probably wouldn't hurt to have both.

Have both of them the auxbeam can run during the day and can be used when responding to emergencies the other one can be a fog or more light
I would run just one light bar that has the "cross beam" feature, I would think if you start adding a lot of light bars you might start reducing the air flow into the motor.
I think you should run both. it looks nice and aggressive and gives your truck nice visibility at night.
How are these mounted? i have the same bumper but can't figure out how to mount lights to it.

I like the drl feature. I wish a light bar would give e you the option to light up the floods or spot lights or both.
How did u install the light bars on to that gaurd what brackets did u use thanks
Can you do a comparison at night? Is the Nilight longer than the Auxbeam?
would like to seex a comparison at night on a wall/fence and maybe in a field to see what distace they can light up
Where did you get the mounts for the light bars. And what are they called? I have the same ranch hand and have been thinking of how to mount them the way you have.
If you need flood lights just get some small 6-8" lights for the side angles and get great side flood.
You can't have enough light...
so why not add a third lightbar?
I like the crossbeam light....just my .02 cents.
*Which Light Bar...??*
*YES...!!!!*

got to see the Ranch hand line wow next truck will have full front and rear

Gamma-ray burst I don't think that the one light bar is gonna mess with airflow that much tbh.

both lightbars would be good for back roads I would keep both
Your cutting off the Air Flow to ALL The Cooling Systems in the Front of your Truck, and that is so very important on any Diesel!!
Your cutting off the Air Flow to ALL The Cooling Systems in the Front of your Truck, and that is so very important on any Diesel!!
I think you should keep it the way they are and love the videos keep up the good work Big Truck Big RV
Do you have a link for the oxbeam bar
Thanks Big Truck Big Rv
www.auxbeam.com/70023381
I like the Auxbeam

I would run one which would be the newer one to avoid blinding people. I think two is a little overkill.

Think you should run both of them
it all depends on how it illuminates at night
This is the key for me also. It really doesn't matter what they look like in the daytime, looking at them. You need to try them both in the dark (separately) and see which amount of light and the coverage does what you want.
Keep them both
just one. auxbeam I like the drl.
You mentioned fog several times, your fog lights need to be as low as possible

yes
Run BOTH!
Run both. It looks good
keep it all. it looks really good...
You can never have too many lights
Run the Oxbeam.
More lights, more options. Just saying.
Keep what you've got, don't add more, and just use what you need for specific occasions.
What kind of brackets did you use?
More lights the better though as long as it complies the road laws
I thought all light bars were created equal. Great vid.
How is it mounted to the bumper?
Both
How did you mount your light bar on your grill gaurd?
In most states those are illegal for on-road use.
See both at night while sitting in the cab and from a distance away....say 100 to 150 feet away.
Keep both of Them, but use Them as they are attended..
I think light bars look good only on a certain truck. Not a super duty f-450.
BOTH
do you even use them? i know some people just put bars on their trucks because they look bad ass
Alejandro Zuniga: I use them on dark county roads and when heading to the ranch. come in very handy. I NEVER run them towards traffic or during the day.
Big Truck Big RV GLAD to hear that!! very responsible from you ✌
the nylight is nice for night ..I personally can't stand when people are using the blinding lights in the rear view of my wife's car or my trk view
Run both
I'd say keep Auxbeam seem to be better imo
aux all the way
Use the oxbeam
auxbeam
Put the auxbeam up against the rigid. I own both brands of 3x2 led pods and find the auxbeam a great deal but not as bright.
Why did you do this video in the day? Makes more sense to do it at night don't you think?
Guy Mooglie: I might do a night video just to show output, but they both blind the camera at night.
maybe a comparison on a dark road so the density and range can be measured (by eye).
Guy Mooglie I agree with you
what brand of flush mounts do you have on your grille?
agger732 Axistech
Yeah haha 3 light bars is way too many!
I say both light bars why not
a bit overkill bro..1 is fine

i'd say run 2 light bars
Crossbeam
Also WHY do we have to put up with your AD'S that you have put on your Video's, we get so many already here on You Tube!
Or did you get a BIG Discount if you would run there AD'S on this site?
goood
Why...
that would be stupid
Radiator. Gasping. For. Air. . .
Your cutting off the Air Flow to ALL The Cooling Systems in the Front of your Truck, and that is so very important on any Diesel!!
Mark Thomas Good point. That intercooler is massively important.
Dump and get a Rigid.
just scrap both an do the rigid. than use the two as a giveaway again
