I used had one, then I got ARB Bumper much better. I living deer county here in Texas and trust me insurance will pay back $2,576!! Don't get cheap bumper use your money wisely!!!
The touches you've added and plan to add are sweet.
Kevin Hornbuckle: thank you sir!
I have a weather guard and my 2500 gs and I love it no rattles no squeaks no leaks nothing gets in nothing gets out you will get you're money's worth buying a weather guard
you should put a red running light behind the rear bumper ranch hand logo.
wilson solt: that's a cool idea. I'll look into it.
Was thinking the same thing.
Big Truck Big RV you could wire it in to the brake lights so when you brake it lights up. that would be sweet
wilson solt
Joe DiCocco personally I'd like it lit all the time, but either would be cool.
So much weight added, 300 plus pounds
thanks for all the info
Nice,looks like quality products!
TShull: yep and if heavy means quality....well, they should last forever.
The lightbar is back!
Mike Seymour: more to come also :)
Now you can play bumper tag with all the sub-compacts out on your daily commute!
Love the Bumpers and Toolbox. Very bad-ass looking. Will lower your MPG but who cares with that big diesel :) Very nice.
If only ranch hand made trucks boys Thayd last for ever
Especially because your truck is a dually, really accents the bumpers nicely IMO. Happy New Years!
tuffnugly454: thanks, I agree
Thanks for the video!
What bed cover were you able to use with the tool box in place?
I have the F350 XL with zero chrome on the truck. I think a black front bumper like the Ranch Hand would look nice.
nice set up , like i said in ybe past gives ur truck a beast look . keep up the videos
tim fenstemaker: thanks
that is a nice looking truck. there is one drawback I wish would place the gear shift in the center console instead of the collar.
Sinclair Jones: yeah, that's a 3/4+ ton truck thing.
Ford should place the gear shift in the center console
Sorry, last post.
LED light ideas for the rear bumper cutouts:
www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/192869-led-reverse-backup-lights-in-rear-bumper-step-cavity/
What's with the trailer hitch on the brush guard
whiteandnerdytuba: for front mounting anything like a BBQ grill, cooler, Accessories rack and so forth
front bumper looks really tough but this truck just seems too nice for that industrial farm look front bumper.
Bo Sexton: they have the smooth steel option as well, but I wanted their biggest and baddest with a winch mount.
the front bumper should contour with the side of truck for added protection and style
Thanks for the update. You posted weights of the bumpers. What were/are the suggested prices of the bumpers?
I believe about $1300 for the front and $1500 for the rear.
Depends on zip code, shipping always is a part of msrp
you should tell ranchhand to make a horison back bumper for the 2010 superduty. i love the look
Alejandro Hernandez: you sure the 2001-2016 won't fit? it should
i love the back bumper. i have a 2015 ram 2500 mega cab. i was looking into replacement the bumper on it. but the front one is to big for my taste
Juan manuel V: thanks! I love them both. Especially because the front one is functional
Great video. I was looking to buy the same toolbox but also plan to buy a larger fifth wheel. Have you had any clearance problems between the toolbox and your 5er? I have a long box RAM 3500 dually (2016).
Best upgrade you can put on a ford, a winch for when you need to pull it off the road lol.
Matt Lane: it being other trucks I'm assuming. :)
With your toolbox and tonneau cover setup, could you install a Ranch Hand cab guard and bed rails? If not is there a cover that would work?
Spock910: I wouldn't be able to use my Access Toolbox Bed Cover (which covers my winch and towing supplies if I had a headache rack unfortunately).
Please comment on the Tonnea Cover, mfg and installation behind tool box.
Keith Janssen: www.accesscover.com/toolbox/
I am looking at a motorhome and I want to put some kind of brush guard in front of it do you make these for the 650s motorhomes 4 wheel drive
A herd bumper would have looked really good on there
are the bumpers on front and back painted or powder coated...i hope its powder coated myself
F-150 KING OF TRUCKS: heavy heavy layer of powder coating.
Big Truck Big RV beautiful...im a painter buy trade and just wanted to no because i no the powder coat is way more durable and flexible than paint...
OMG why do people thumb down this? I keep seeing informative videos similar to yours that just have nothing but facts and honest opinions which is completely positive in every aspect of the video and people still comes down it I don't understand? I wish you two would force you to put a reason why you thumb down in it.... Awesome video as always because of you I'm purchasing a 17 F350 dually
Martin Olson: thanks brother
ever think about getting an extended range fuel tank or transfer tank? like transfer flow?
FishFind3000: thought about it, but the 38.5gal tank gets me 500 miles to a tank.
How much does that bumper weigh
Never mind, you stated it in the video
well too bad they don't have 1 for a ford ranger or I would get 1 from you guys
Bob Thebuilder: they have some other brands that might work at Trucker Equipment
I just bought the same bumper for a 16 F250. Any advice on color matching? Mine arrived damaged in multiple places and dented in the grill grate. Trying to make the most out of an unfortunate deal. Would really recommend working with a local installer versus an online retailer. I'd love to have access to a shop like Trucker's Equipment.
+Phil Meadows: Paint and Body shops can both paint and repair the bumper.
question. I see your winch is mounted on front of truck. ist true they need to be mounted on bed of truck. please advice as im looking to upgrade my future truck
Have you noticed anything in the driveability of the truck since you mounted them? Or your mileage?
Alexander McKay: the front feels a little smoother over bumpers.....slightly. and the MPGs were not effected at all. Just completed a 300 mile RV trip.
The 2" hitch suppose to replace the front recovery hooks?
Sophal Teav : hooks are still there, just recessed
In a comment below you stated that these accessories took about 400 lbs off your payload. This may not be much for an F 450 but what about us 1/2 ton guys? Can you do a review on something a little more practical for a 1/2 ton truck (even if it's just on the bench)?
+Mark Hawkins: I sure can. I'll be visiting the ranch hand factory very soon and showing the difference as well.
Any concerns about the airbags deploying in a crash with that huge bumper installed?
How do you stop your new bumpers from rusting - I see these all the time that rust when the powder coating is chipped from rocks etc. Could you linex/rhino liner it?
Steven Reeves: cheaper finishes start rusting quickly. Ranch Hand uses a super thick powder coat and generally last much longer before developing surface rust. But a small coat of WD40 will help repel water and prevent rust
Next up: headache rack!
Simplex SM: can't. the Bedcover wouldnt work with one back there unfortunately
You're truck is simply amazing. I live the looks of the newer fords and the Ranch Hand equipment really compliments it very well. I own a Dodge Ram 3500 srw. I did a front bumper replacement, but unfortunately did not think to get one with a front rexiever hitch. It does have 2 D ring mounts and a winch however. My question to you however is why you did not go with the heavier 15k+ winch option? I realize the 10k will do more than 10k and you don't off road too much with that truck. But on the off chance you need to pull you're truck out of a snag with some weight attached or in it. I feel a larger winch would be more desired. I went for the side of caution and have a 15.5k for mine. Granted, I play off road more. But IMO heavy trucks need heavy accessories. And you're truck is a beautiful SUMO!
Erik Ford: Availability of the Warn Heavyweight Winches are slim. This winch is simply massive compared to most 12k winches including Warn's own VR and Zeon series. There is a huge difference.
I see, I have no doubt that that winch will probably do everything that my Smittybilt 15.5 can do. Probably pick you're truck straight up in the air. Hope you never need to use it for such though. Love the videos, keep up the great work. I will definitely be looking into that toolbox
Erik Ford: thanks brother
Love the back bumper the front bumper is way to heavy and too big look at the one Road Armor has it's more of a Low profile front bumper when you are pulling weight you want to make your heavy truck as light as possible
Ryan Clark weight reduction bro thats why u got a rocker lmao
Bo Sexton: lol. yeah, the front didn't even drop 1/2" with the bumper and winch. I purchased the truck with the Heavy Service Front Suspension option
what type of brush gaurd did you have on this before the bumper?
Catty T0mboy I didn't know rough country made brush gaurds. I was assuming it was a ranch hand but didn't know
agger732: Frontier Gear.
I'm liking these upgrades quite a lot, makes the Truck look really fit for purpose. You seem to have a really good sense in your choice of things, they all look really good quality, and the sort one could leave to grandchildren, and they would still be in good condition. I'm curious about how you are using the Truck with these upgrades, how do they perform and or help you out? Or is it just a general evaluation of products available?
You could really ruin a Prius's day with those puppies
tin pin: hah true
Since Texas requires a front license plate, have you found a kit that allows you to mount the plate and flip it up to winch and back down when not in use?
I've got a Westin. Adjustable tension.
ruclips.net/video/YDnOeL7V_jE/видео.html
I use the License plate hitch adapter that Ranch Hand includes (you can see it on the ground in front of the truck). It positions the plate well above and clear of the winch lead.
Get a headache rack!
Look like there's a little Hyundai in the driveway for the F450 to snack on later. JK
Luke Edward: haha. desert
I put a buckstop on my truck. I there bumpers much stronger made. watch?v=YVy7J0U1JlQ
I completely disagree. Buckstop even claim their bumpers only weighs about 190lbs over stock. Also, they claim they use 1/4" steel for all heavy supported areas (including winch) and 3/16th steel under the headlights (www.buckstopinc.com/features/). My Ranch Hand weighs 230lbs over stock (280lbs total, minus the winch plate) and is built using 1/4 steel under the headlights and 3/16 for surround plating. Plus Ranch Hand uses 3/8" steel for the winch mount and body attachments. Also, Ranch Hand uses MUCH thicker powder coating than anyone else. Ranch Hand makes the Buckstop look weak...and that's being 100% honest.
