These fps figures dont match up with gamers nexus benchmarks, are you sure you werent gpu limmited by any chance? These numbers dont look like something a 4090 would produce
AMD fan boys are worried about being able to upgrade their CPU. Nothing to worry about with 14600k if you're planning to keep it for awhile and not wanting to upgrade in the next 2-3 years. By that time AMD socket size will have changed too.
Hello my friend. I would be happy if you could help me choose between these 2 processors Ryzen 7 7800x3d and i7 14700k. For me, the priority is better performance in the field of gaming. I want to buy one of these processors for the 4090 graphics card.
@@AMIR-22Z It's a little complicated, the two processors are completely different and each one has advantages and disadvantages. In some games, Ryzen win , and in other games, the 14700k win. If you want a definitive comparison, you should watch the performance of both processors in the game you want. I hope you have understood
@@hardwaretest2552 So it mostly depends on the user's taste, otherwise there is no difference between them in terms of the game and it cannot be said that i7 14700k or Ryzen 7 7800x3d is better and it depends on the user's taste which one she wants to buy.
@@Munenushi 14600k will last 10 years of ultra gaming and full workload, ryzens will get reckt in 1-2 years and need a upgrade, thats why the same rubbish socket
@@emersonmatheus8611 lol no intel has to replace every two generations - meanwhile AMD RYZEN is going strong playing games to this day on one socket = my 3600 from 2019 ! is still playing modern games, I just had to get one GPU upgrade - but it was all AMD RYZEN all the way for over 5 years now... intel = upgrade after 1-2 years lmao
Why all tests has to be done with a 4090? who can buy this card? And why 1080p? In 4k you will probably see no differences between all those CPU! And the RAM used is a big factor which is never mentioned in test! The 1% lower FPS is for me more important than the average! This video do not help at all, worst it can mislead the future buyers!
at 4k the i5 14600k is the clear winner here, since its the cheapest, make the same games fps of 7800x3d and better work at apps costing less than half of x3d overpriced bs.

lol the last AMD socket is now over 6 years old... intel likes to change every two chips, come on now

If we take the price into consideration. The 7800x3D is better
@@hardwaretest2552 And if we don't want to consider the price and power consumption, which one is better for gaming?

Should benchmark on high resolutions.
Why? You wanna test a CPU in the GPU Limit with a 4090? In 4K it really doesn’t matter which CPU you are running they are pretty much all the same.
1440p ultrawide would be the tests to check out

all test with 4090 To avoid the bottleneck. test in 1080p because testing cpu's much better in 1080p then 4k
