Some people are welder snobs, you know who you are. I have always had terrible looking welds myself, but as long as it dosnt break than the job is done man!
Hey bud awesome video. I am in the process of doing that now. Your welds ethier look too cold or your wire speed is too fast. I couldn't tell if the video was sped up. However, you got remarkably well as the video video went on. Good job bud
Don't trust that bracket yes it may hold but do yourself a favor and start using 75%25% shielding gas for reg. Steel and try non flux core wire the welds will come out so nice compared to flux core which I hate
Grinder and paint makes a welder what he ain't... Not saying that I can do any better, but then I have a son that is a certified welder. I would buy him lunch to do the welds for me. lol
Links to the stuff I used on my build on Amazon in Description above.

Hey bud awesome video thanks for posting this very helpful. What work did you do to drive shafts
Looks good sir, you have the right motion just slow down when welding. It will make for a smoother weld and deeper penetration
thank you... still working on getting better.
Hey, what size was the angle iron did you used?
What are the measurements of your angle iron? Thanks.
