PoE 2 limited and straight forward right now, there are like 1000 items Missing, as well as Gems, Supports, Ascendancies ect. ect. ect. It was planned to be a lightning Build and ended up being Ice Strike cause it felt better to play. I don't care who else is playing Ice Strike, the game currently has half a Million active players, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to pick an item, a skill or any combination that doesn't exist before. And I can guarantee you, without even checking, that there are prolly 1000+ Ppl playing tri-attribute stacking right now. I will do my own stuff regardless, and posting updates as I go. yeah i talked to my friend and asked him what he was going to play as . and gem by gem and stat by stat, our builds were completely identical lol. the game does not have a lot of variety right now.

Yea, the reason builds are so similar is because numbers. People will naturally congregate to the same nodes because they are the BEST nodes for the skills they chose. All Hexblast users will look similar to a good Hexblast build because. Why? Because math is fundamentally consistent and follows standard principles.

Doing a similar build myself it's really good ! It's expensive but your Morior chest can roll +10% all res per socket to solve resistance issues. Also check out the timeless jewels, the keystones changes the attribute inherent bonus, you can change your INT +2 mana you're not using into % evasion GL it's a really fun build and scales really high
maybe with thelegendary belt +xx% values on ring + max res rings you could max stats res ( chaos included ), with ascendency you bump up thoses max elem res

well, i don't really know how it is in poe2, but in poe1, all of the modifiers on Pilar of the caged god are not local modifiers. they are global, which work additively with other source of '% increased' modifiers. you can look it up on wiki. but i guess it doesn't really matter whether it's local or not. seems the build has good damage!
Im doing a warrior version of this right now, trying to see how far I can take armour explosions with the aoe and dmg from this interaction. Ill probably leave dex at 150-200 and put most on int and strenght.
What about using the %res grand spectrum? Thats what I currently plan to do on a very similar build. Main difference is I want to get into MoM aswell and drop Bloodmagic instead.
Such a cool build... been wanting to see some stat stacking gemling builds, so much potential. Kinda funny to see a 500 ex+ build going up ahainst T1 but get that its just a showcase. Pumped to see how it does in hardest content, prob gonna blast tho. Plus res will be alot eaiser after patch.
The one way I see this build improving is rage. 30% more damage and increased armor as an additional engine would go hard. The reduced attack speed for more attack mode is also probably worth a look just to reign in your attacks speed a bit.

@mbXtreme Herald of Ice can't Freeze. If you open the extra information for the skill via the arrow, there is a line saying "Cannot cause freeze buildup"
Ive found resistance just isnt as needed as it was in poe1. The adds are so strong atm that they'll 1 hit you with or without resistance. May be better to main focus thise stats. My gemling is currently doing arc deadeye build basically
btw im level 86 and I swapped my build around to do the same thing, the bloodmagic thing is kind of harsh on higher lvl maps, so I guess you'd go for Advanced Thaumaturgy later on. Furthermore without this gloves the damage still sucks for me. Still it's better then my crossbow build. These gloves are expensive lol and so is a pillar of caged god if you wna have the +lightning dmg double stat that you've got.
issues with resistance will be solved soon. ggg are going easy mode and removing the resistance penalties for hitting t6 and t12 maps, so atm everyone lose 180% resistance soon it will only be 120% resistance penalty. personally i think its a bad change and they should just distribute the penalty throughout the campaign but what you gunna do aye

With timeless jewels you can change what the inherent bonus of stats is.
There may also be passives for %attributes on notables. Not too sure.

Love it im not alone. I have 120 hours and have merc, monk, ranger and witch att lvl 70 and sorc att 50. I enjoy trying out different classes

Not sure how you will fix resistance, mega resist ring with no attributes?
The body armour can give a lot of res as well as %attributes but it costs a shitload
Currently saving up for HoWA then I'm ready to blast with this build.

Have you thought about maybe the reason you get oneshot is because you dont use resistances? xD
@Zylosio its not. I can cap resistance for same results. I stated this in my comment. This game just has abilities that 1 shot you no matter what.
130 hours in the game and I lvl 79 on one character, this guy has alsmost for charactes for same time... (as new player, I have a lot to learn)
In PoE1 all these PotCG conditional modifiers are global.

I think that staff is going to get reduced in stats added soon. Also will be impossible to acquire one for beginners because of market upscale for it.
