@@Isa-tw1ly the last time I had psychosis was because of PTSD. I too had all the symptoms! PTSD Psychosis in my opinion is worse than the others I've experienced because.... The reason your brain goes in psychosis is because your mind literally cannot handle what happened. I went in to psychosis because my ex husband tried killing me a long with some other huge stressers that was also traumatizing. I'm glad you got him help, go you! Try not to remind him of his habits or how he acted in his impaired mental state. it's embarrassing and it triggers the PTSD, at least it did for me. My family kept telling me how I acted, what I did etc. When someone is in psychosis or just got out recently it's a lot on the brain. Think of it as the most intense exercise you can and multiply by 3. That's what the brain is like during recovery. I smoke weed like mad and it helps. It helps those with PTSD by removing the huge intense memory and replaces em with not as bad memories. It's a life saver. I wish you and your family well and healthy lives!

I just recently experienced an episode. I was driving when two specific things triggered me. All of a sudden I had no idea why I was driving and where I was driving, was stuck in another reality. Voices told me I was communicating with the spiritual world and they were telling me about my future and past. Voices told me to pull over an enter a forest. As I got into the forest, I had no idea what I was doing there or where I was going. I was so confused. I managed to tell myself that if I go into the forest no one will ever find me. I then saw a tree but voices were telling me it’s a demon trying to kill me. I had a panic attack. Managed to put the gps on and drive home. Apparently I was 100 km away but had no idea how I got there. I’m trying to get therapy but they’re labelling me as a high risk client. I just recently lost my mom, have a lot of trauma and have past depression issues. Sick and tired of coping skills.
I had a dream after this where they told me I need to get a puppy and it will help me stay grounded in reality.

I have no fear of hearing these voices, if i heard anything that prompted me to do harm to myself or others I would knowcthat this is a malevolent entity. I am on my spiritual path, the journey is a joy.

Everything is energy, and therefore psychic attacks are very real. Who’s to say what matters and what doesn’t? The linearisation of the human causes more problems than it solves. We are not 3D beings, we are just having a physical experience right now. Life is but a dream and no one is truly in the position to tell someone that their experience is false. All is Mind.

I can suggest you to do physical training, eating well, spending time in nature, getting closer to god.
I know it's hard but try to accept everything as a lesson, get in touch with your feelings.

As a close relative to a person with schizofrenia I wold like to say this about trauma and schizophrenia. There might be some patients that have had trauma but many bipolar or schizophrenic people may turn their emotions against the person they care most about. Due to anosognosia it is common that psychotic delustions includes trauma as a real event when it is not. As so many patience with psychosis suffers from anosognosia a denial of the cause of the hospitalization may be blamed on delusional traumas. This will make the data hard to analyze as this type of data is collected between the patient and the hospital.

I haven't heard this before, psychosis and personality disorders can be quite different so I don't see how they relate- would have to look into this myself more!

    • @panelolli
      @panelolli 2 года назад +5

@@AvaMason1 it's psychosis because of the main symptoms
related to narcissism which is permanent delusional thinking. Similar to someone with permanent psychosis or schizophrenia, the narcissist is unable to distinguish between fantasy reality and humane realities (emotional and compassionate empathy, morality, self awareness, remorse). That's why they act in antisocial manners, their narcissisticly psychotic sense of reality feels real to them and they cannot question it, that's just how they think.
There's other similarities between narcissism and psychosis (also related to delusional thinking) - and that is word salad. Everybody knows the narcissistic word salad as well as some patients with schizophrenia, the way they connect contexts and meanings is disturbed by their thought processes.
What's also not talked about a lot is that a narcissistic household can create most, if not all personality disorders. Crazy stuff.

@@panelolliThat's funny! I had a psychosis that made me realize I have NPD.

@@bobostyle1996 when the psychosis passes you should be displaying less narcissistic traits, as the psychosis just serves as a temporary escape from pain and creates a more defensive personality style while you’re still around chaos

I can see where this theory could definitely pan out.
I believe both my bros are malignant NPDs. Their bizarre thinking had to have started over 60-70 years ago.

Is it just me, or is pretty much everything just stress shutting down the PFC and disinhibiting people? Seems like genetics don't actually make you vulnerable, they just get expressed when you stop being able to inhibit the behavior that they drive? Like, surely partially expressed forms are the only way most disorders could have evolved in the first place?

You don't know the exact percentages regarding the link between psychosis and trauma, so please don't state estimated numbers (that do not account for dissociated trauma that has not yet been remembered) as fact.

Someone needs to shut this woman up. Because of people like her, if someone breaks my lock, I spend three days in a seclusion room. I wish someone shut this woman up. She is nonsense. What she says hurts some people.
