The camera control button frees up my action button. The placement isn’t great but it’s easily overcome 🤷🏻♂️ Now I can have the action button something more technical 👍🏻
But I do hate the desert titanium and now I’m stuck with it. Really thought it would be more Flat Dark Earth akin to another midnight green from 11 Pro Max.
@@homesickradioheadit’s been over two weeks now I think. I’ve been busy with work and such just haven’t felt like dealing with the hassle. Plus it was done through a trade in and they said it might get a little complicated having to redo it. Just haven’t felt like dealing with it
I feel a camera control review should be done once the update is out that completes its features. I'm looking forward to visual lookup and the half press to lock focus on a subject...
Mostly agree with the camera capture button being finicky. Reminds me of Touch ID button when it first came out. Worked well only under ideal usage. Hopefully Apple keeps improving and refining it
depends how much you value each dollar. 16 is clearly the better phone but the 15pro (I have 15p max) is still an amazingly fast phone that can do apple intelligence also. i would say 15pro for cost saving or 16 pro only if you want the camera button (that is essentially the main differentiator)
Wait till the 18. Just get your battery replaced by Apple. I’m keeping my 15 until the 20 comes out. Hell, I’m thinking about just getting the iPhone SE when it comes out next year!
Keep it for another year or two. You will be perfectly fine. You're not really missing out on anything and don't even bother with apple intelligence. It's not like the full feature set is getting released anytime soon.
Good vid. I went from a 13 Pro (which was great) and like it a lot. I was going to get the dessert color too until I saw it at the A Store looking too pink. I go caseless (got full value for the 13 that was never cased) so I went white titanium. Actually one of fav upgrades is that now my iPhone is a damn good bedside clock!
Excellent video! Top quality as always! One month later I am struggling with the camera quality of my iPhone 16 pro. For example , when I take pictures of a A4 paper with text I just get blurry and shadow text on borders of the photo. I tried to adjust settings including your tips - same bad quality. I also tried another 16 pro iPhones on stores and the same happen - it doesn’t happen with my wife’s 16 model. Anyone else? Thanks
I turned my camera control button off. I find it not very utile and often when picking up the phone i triggered the button. The placement is just bad Honestly i do not find it any more difficult or time consuming to just go into the camera app as i always have done.
It’s not just the button is all that great, it’s bad cause i used it once or twice since i bought the 16 Pro. Had to force myself to use, and still it’s not intuitive at all.
do you ever end up accidentally pressing it? i think having a dedicated camera button is a fantastic idea.. still considering upgrading from a 15pm even though I know there's minimal difference aside from the camera button
I'm hoping the next iPhone 17 Pro/Max will get the Anti Reflective coating like on the S24 Ultra and that 48MP 5x Telephoto lens but that lens might be on the just the Pro Max since it probably has the most room to fit that junk in
When playing with 16 Pro in shop I didn't even notice the new camera button... I agree the possible best benefit of this button is just to activate the camera. You're able to turn on the camera in zero-time while grabbing your phone. It is nice, or great even. But it's just a physical camera button. Something we already had in other phones. Apple's implementation is not the best, but still they advertise it so hard. Just Apple things ;) Anyway, 16 Pro is a nice device, unfortunately EU users won't benefit of AI (paying the same price).
For the camera button placement they clearly attempted a middle ground for landscape and portrait which didn’t work, mainly because it’s an overall bad idea.
Can you review and try shooting some pictures with the pixel 9 pro/XL. Compare with the iPhone when posted on twister and other social media apps. The quality of videos, pictures
Imo white one is too bright for me at any lightening, especially during the day, as i only use transparent cases, while natural is almost like silver in light and grey-ish in darker lightening - so I chose natural
Owning both 14 pro and 16 pro I have to say that the screen of the 14 pro is more vivid and by far brighter while maintaining exactly the same setup and settings. There is a topic regarding this screen topic in Reddit and Mac rumors so not the only one here. By the way really good review thanks a lot
Love the cinematography and the quality of this video.
I think a change from 13pro to the 16pro is a great choice
Programm the action button to take pictures and camera control "BUTTON" to control parameter. Game changing
As my understanding, the sensor of main camera is the second gen. However, the size of the sensor still the same.
Yeah, otherwise if it was the exact same sensor, that means the 15 pro max and pro can shoot 4K 120 as well but they don’t

Dubai photo lookin crazyyy 🤯🤯

If they make an option to change camera control to game triggers it’s honestly gonna be 150% worth it
Is it worth it to upgrade from 15 pro for better battery life and the heating issues?
I'll stick with my 13 mini
at least 30% of the ppl that I know have Iphone 12/13 mini 😅 …
I used to have a 13 mini but traded it for a 15 Pro.. I miss that tiny thing everyday.

I strongly disagree about the camera button placement. I find it to be just right!

nice and quick ✨ . The pictures are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ❤

gorgeous photos of japan scenery
amazing content!!! i'm a huge fan, thanks Oliur
13 mini all the way. I have a tablet and a laptop. My phone is a phone you don’t need huge
Same! 😊
Idk big phones feel amazing to me it’s just preference. Also why do mini users let everyone know they’re mini users lol
@@Marz333 if we don’t; mini phones will be an endangered species.
still waiting for iPhone 9.. until then won't upgrade from my 8
Great video as always!
What is that gadget to the right of you??
100% on the desert titanium, a bit disappointing in real life. Always torn between black and natural.
I’m in uni and I have an iPhone 7. Idk whether to upgrade to 15 pro or 16 pro

Should I upgrade from the 14 pro 87% bh from February 2023 to 16 pros or wait for the 17 pros?
imo unless you are a really pro user I think don't upgrade.
Just swap the battery and use it until 18pros come out.

For someone that upgraded from iPhone X to 16 pro, I find the phone very smooth and clean in many aspects.

For years, I’ve always yearned for the new phone. That stopped with the 13 Pro Max. This is by far the longest I’ve had one single phone.
For the camera button placement they clearly attempted a middle ground for landscape and portrait which didn’t work, mainly because it’s an overall bad idea.
i got the 16PM today and i'm kind of annoyed knowing they haaave to be moving the placement of camera control for the iphone 17 lmao
sorry i'm more focused on the watches 🤩
I’m actually waiting for the 15 pro to hit $600. I have a 13 pro

Great vid as always. 🎉
I wouldve preferred a finger print scanner in the power button than a new camera button
Lack of AI has made me not upgrade on schedule for the first time in a long while
Use it landscape, but with the button facing down so that you are using your left thumb!!
Thanks for that idea 💡
Bro flexing his watch collection.
I’m gonna upgrade to my feminine desert TAN
I love my 16 pro I had 14 pro max and 16 pro is soo much better better
Would buy wallpaper pack but to expensive
are you working at Rakuten
upgrade from iPhone 7, and 12 pro. this device is dope. got the same color. the sound system is awesome! very smooth ❤
How are u bro?
White or natural titanium???? Pls suggest ..

You look good Oliur! Happy to see you shine.
It's a good review but not as good as two months after review.
Whats that device at 14 sec in?
13 pro looking strong
Might get a 16 next year when 80% of what it promises is already integrated (Apple intelligence lol)
I I’m very happy with my 15 PM. 😎
Skipped 16 only because of this stupid camera button
Using your left hand and your middle finger makes it significantly easier to operate the camera control button.
The person or team responsible for the camera control position on the phone should be fired.
I stick with my iPhone 2G.
I have 16pro with 512bg 😂
